A structure adapted to carry one or more persons
Abstract
A structure adapted to carry one or more persons is disclosed. The structure includes a sliding surface mounted on a supporting structure at a predetermined angle, wherein the sliding surface includes a first passage, a transition passage and a second passage. The first passage is configured to be connected with the second passage via the transition passage. The first passage and the second passage have decreasing radius of curvature towards the transition passage, thereby reducing oscillation amplitude of a person and guide the person towards a second opening. The person is tangentially launched onto the lager diameter of the first passage and is guide onto the second passage via the transition passage and is guided to an exit. The structure provides for an increased travel time.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWe claim:
1 . A structure adapted to carry one or more persons comprising:
a sliding surface mounted on a supporting structure at a predetermined angle,
wherein the sliding surface comprises a first passage, a transition passage and a second passage;
wherein the first passage is configured to be connected with the second passage via the transition passage; and
wherein the first passage and the second passage have a decreasing radius of curvature towards the transition passage, thereby reducing oscillation amplitude of a person and guide the person towards a second opening.
2 . The structure as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the first passage and the second passage are at least one of completely enclosed flume and partially enclosed flume.
3 . The structure as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the first passage comprises a first opening, a first retaining wall and a water drain, and a second passage comprises a second opening.
4 . The structure as claimed in claim 3 , wherein the first passage comprises a water drain configured to allow excess water supplied in the first passage to drain out, thereby allowing a smooth movement of the person.
5 . The structure as claimed in claim 3 , wherein the first retaining wall is configured to retain the person within the first passage.
6 . The structure as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the transition passage comprises a second retaining wall configured to retain the person within the transition passage.
7 . The structure as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the first opening is positioned in such a way to launch the person tangentially onto the first passage along a larger radius of the first passage.
8 . The structure as claimed in claim 4 , wherein shape of flume enables movement of the person, after being launched onto the first passage, is at least one of oscillated, whirled and spun before exiting via the second opening, wherein the second opening is at least one of tangential and co-axial.
9 . The structure as claimed in claim 1 , further comprising a first path configured to connect a start point to the first opening and a second path configured to connect to the second opening.
10 . The structure as claimed in claimed 1 , further comprising means to provide at least one of light, sound and smoke effect techniques,
wherein means for implementing the light effect technique is at least one light emitting device; wherein means for implementing the sound effect technique is a speaker; and wherein means for implementing the smoke effect technique is at least one of smoke generator and fog generator.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
