Volume Boosting Molding Hair Coloring Creme Formulation

Abstract

An improved hair color formulation treats hair to provide volume, viscosity, color and hair follicle stimulation. The color formulation is appointed to be used in hair products, and comprises a natural color agent and at least one agent providing anti-dihydrotestosterone (DHT) effects. Hair products include styling products, cleansing products, concealment products, and dying products. In one embodiment, the formulation comprises an aqueous emulsion, at least one hydrocarbon, at least one thickening agent, at least one humectant, at least one emollient, at least one fatty acid ester, and at least one agent providing anti-dihydrotestosterone (DHT) effects, such as caffeine, and at least one color agent. Preservatives, fibers and further treatments for male/female pattern baldness may also be added to the composition. Natural colorants are added to the hair color formulation to provide temporary coloring in addition to enhanced volume, viscosity and hair follicle stimulation.

         42 . A hair styling formulation comprising the following ingredients:
 a. at least one natural color agent comprising coffee present in an amount ranging from 0.001-0.8 wt. % of the composition, said coffee containing caffeine that provides anti-dihydrotestosterone (D.H.T.) effects and providing a hair color treatment that stains the hair brown, dark brown or black   b. a viscosity building agent;   c. a thickening agent wax that bonds to hair, in combination, said ingredients forming said hair styling formulation;   d. said hair styling formulation being a leave-in hair product that bonds to hair to provide a source of nutrition, color and combat DHT.   
     
     
         43 . The hair styling formulation of  claim 42 , wherein said natural color agent comprises dark cocoa and instant coffee to provide hair color treatment. 
     
     
         44 . The hair styling formulation of  claim 43 , wherein said dark cocoa ranges from 0.001-0.5 wt. %. 
     
     
         45 . The hair styling formulation of  claim 42 , wherein said natural color agent comprises coffee. 
     
     
         46 . The hair styling formulation of  claim 42 , wherein said natural color agent comprises instant coffee 
     
     
         47 . The hair styling formulation of  claim 46 , wherein said instant coffee ranges from 0.001-0.5 wt. %. 
     
     
         48 . The hair styling formulation of  claim 42  comprising charcoal powder. 
     
     
         49 . The hair styling formulation of  claim 48 , wherein said charcoal powder ranges from 0.005-2 wt. %. 
     
     
         50 . The hair styling formulation of  claim 42  comprising caramel color powder. 
     
     
         51 . The hair styling formulation of  claim 50 , wherein said caramel color powder ranges from 0.02-3 wt. %. 
     
     
         52 . The hair styling formulation of  claim 42  comprising charcoal powder ranging from 0.3-2 wt. %, dark cocoa ranging from 0.001-0.5 wt. %, and instant coffee ranging from 0.001-0.5 wt. %. 
     
     
         53 . The hair styling formulation of  claim 42  comprising caramel color powder ranging from 0.02-3 wt. %, dark cocoa ranging from 0.001-0.5 wt. %, instant coffee ranging from 0.001-0.5 wt. %, and charcoal powder ranging from 0.005-0.5 wt. %. 
     
     
         54 . The hair styling formulation of  claim 42  comprising caramel color powder ranging from 0.02-3 wt. %, dark cocoa ranging from 0.001-0.5 wt. %, and instant coffee ranging from 0.001-0.5 wt. %. 
     
     
         55 . The hair styling formulation of  claim 42 , comprising an aqueous solution. 
     
     
         56 . The hair styling formulation of claim  1 , wherein said hair products are hair styling products selected from a group consisting of gels, crèmes, sprays, mousses, and pomades. 
     
     
         57 . The hair styling formulation of claim  1 , wherein said natural color agent and at least one agent providing anti-dihydrotestosterone (DHT) effects comprise coffee, instant coffee, dark cocoa, charcoal powder, caramel color, and caramel color powder. 
     
     
         58 . A hair styling formulation adapted for molding and treating hair to provide enhanced hair volume, viscosity and hair follicle stimulation consisting of an aqueous emulsion, a thickening agent, a humectant, an emollient, a fatty acid ester, an agent providing anti-dihydrotestosterone (DHT) effects by stimulating hair follicle growth ranging from 0.001-0.8 wt. %, said agent providing anti-DHT effects being caffeine, and a natural color agent comprising cocoa and coffee to provide hair color treatment, a viscosity building agent, said hair styling having a viscosity ranging from about 70,000 cps to 160,000 cps, a thickening agent wax that bonds to hair, in combination, ingredients forming said hair styling formulation; wherein said hair styling formulation is a leave-in hair product that bonds to hair to provide a source of nutrition, color and combat DHT. 
     
     
         59 . The hair styling formulation of  claim 42  comprising an aqueous emulsion and at least one each of (i) sequestrant, (ii) formulation viscosity building agent, (iii) humectant sugar alcohol that increases cellular water penetration in the hair, increasing volumized appearance, (iv) an emulsifying thickening agent, (v) a thickening wax, and vi) preservative. 
     
     
         60 . A hair styling formulation comprising the following ingredients: an aqueous emulsion, at least one agent providing anti-dihydrotestosterone (DHT) effects and at least one of each of the following: i) agent consisting essentially of caffeine adapted to provide anti-dihydrotestosterone (DHT) effects by stimulating hair follicle growth; ii) sequestrant; iii) carbomer; iv) styling glue; v) emulsion stabilizer; vi) silicon, vii) at least one color agent consisting of a natural color agent, and a viscosity building agent, said hair styling having a viscosity ranging from about 70,000 cps to 160,000 cps, a thickening agent wax that bonds to hair, in combination, said ingredients forming said hair styling formulation; wherein said hair styling formulation is a leave-in hair product that bonds to hair to provide a source of nutrition, color and combat DHT. 
     
     
         61 . The hair styling formulation of  claim 60  comprising charcoal powder ranging from 0.3-2 wt. %, dark cocoa ranging from 0.001-0.5 wt. %, and instant coffee ranging from 0.001-0.5 wt. %, wherein said hair color formulation is adapted to yield a black hair color treatment. 
     
     
         62 . The hair styling formulation of  claim 60  comprising a caramel color powder ranging from 0.02-3 wt. %, dark cocoa ranging from 0.001-0.5 wt. %, instant coffee ranging from 0.001-0.5 wt. %, and charcoal powder ranging from 0.005-0.5 wt. %, wherein said hair color formulation yields a brown hair color. 
     
     
         63 . The hair styling formulation of  claim 60  comprising caramel color powder ranging from 0.02-3 wt. %, dark cocoa ranging from 0.001-0.5 wt. %, and instant coffee ranging from 0.001-0.5 wt. %, wherein said hair color formulation yields a light brown hair color. 
     
     
         64 . The hair styling formulation of  claim 42  comprising at least one viscosity building agent and having a viscosity ranging from about 70,000 cps to 160,000 cps.
