Hair setting tool

Abstract

A hair setting tool for setting hair in multiple hairstyles is disclosed herein. The tool comprises at least one first element having a resilient configuration, the first element having a first end and a second end. A second element has a rigid and deformable configuration. The second element has a first end and a second end, wherein the second element is coupled to the first element at one of the first end and the second end thereof. At least one hair holding device may be coupled to at least one of the first end and the second end of the first element and the second element. A third element being an ornamental element may be connectable to the first and second elements.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A hair setting tool for setting hair in multiple hairstyles, the tool comprising:
 at least one first element having a resilient configuration, the first element having a first end and a second end; and   at least one hair holding device coupled to at least one of the first end and the second end of the first element.   
     
     
         2 . The tool according to  claim 1 , further comprising at least one second element having a rigid and deformable configuration, the second element having a first end and the second end, wherein the second element is coupled to the first element at one of the first end and the second end thereof. 
     
     
         3 . The tool according to  claim 2 , further comprising a hair holding device coupled to at least one of the first end and the second end of the second element. 
     
     
         4 . The tool according to  claim 2 , further comprising a ring connected to at least one of the first and second ends of the first and second elements, the ring having a retractable button for selectively opening a section of the ring to facilitate connection of the hair holding device thereto. 
     
     
         5 . The tool according to  claim 3 , wherein the holding device is at least one of a bobby pin, a comb, and an elastic band. 
     
     
         6 . The tool according to  claim 1 , wherein the first element is a resilient cord. 
     
     
         7 . The tool according to  claim 2 , wherein the second element is a deformable metallic wire. 
     
     
         8 . The tool according to  claim 1 , further comprising a third element, wherein the third element is an ornamental element connectable to the first and second elements. 
     
     
         9 . A hair setting tool for setting hair in multiple hairstyles, the tool comprising:
 at least one first element having a resilient configuration, the first element having a first end and a second end;   at least one second element having a rigid and deformable configuration, the second element having a first end and a second end, wherein the second element is coupled to the first element at one of the first end and the second end thereof; and   at least one hair holding device coupled to at least one of the first end and the second end of the first element and the second element; and   a third element, wherein the third element is an ornamental element connectable to the first and second elements.   
     
     
         10 . The tool according to  claim 9 , further comprising a ring connected to at least one of the first and second ends of the first and second elements, the ring having a retractable button for selectively opening a section of the ring to facilitate connection of the hair holding device thereto. 
     
     
         11 . The tool according to  claim 9 , wherein the holding device is at least one of a bobby pin, a comb, and an elastic band. 
     
     
         12 . The tool according to  claim 9 , wherein the first element is a resilient cord. 
     
     
         13 . The tool according to  claim 9 , wherein the second element is a deformable metallic wire. 
     
     
         14 . A method for creating a hairdo using the hair setting tool, the method comprising:
 inserting inside of the hair, a rigid and deformable element of the hair setting tool to be manually shaped into a desired hairdo when the bulk hair is manipulated into a desired shape;   shaping the bulk hair with the rigid and deformable element into a desired shape; and   stretching a resilient element of the tool over and onto the outside of the shaped desired hairdo to secure the shaped hair bulk in place using the hair setting tool.   
     
     
         15 . The method as claimed in  claim 14 , further comprising:
 tying the hair in a ponytail;   clipping a bobby pin underneath the pony tail;   tucking the resilient element of the tool out of the pony tail;   dividing the pony tail into three sections and combining the rigid and deformable element and an ornamental element of the hair setting tool into each of the three sections of the pony tail;   braiding together the three sections of the pony tail with the rigid and deformable element and the ornamental element of the hair setting tool;   tying the ends of the ponytail, the rigid and deformable element, and the ornamental element of the hair setting tool with a resilient band;   wrapping the braid around the top into a bun;   tucking the ends of the pony tail under the braided bun;   stretching the resilient element around the braided bun;   clipping a bobby pin in place by picking up some hair from the braided bun connected with some hair on the scalp; and   arranging hair to hide the resilient element and the rigid and deformable element while exposing the ornamental element.   
     
     
         16 . The method according to  claim 14 , further comprising:
 tying the hair in a ponytail;   clipping bobby pin underneath the pony tail;   tucking the resilient element out of the pony tail;   twisting the hair with the rigid and deformable element and the ornamental element;   wrapping the hair, the rigid and deformable element, and the ornamental element in a loose bun; stretching the resilient element around the loose bun; and   securing the bobby pin in place by picking up some hair from the loose bun and some hair from the scalp.
