Claims

Abstract

An archery sight mounting device (5) configured to mount an archery sight (6) to a bow main body (1) of an archery bow including a handle (2) having a pair of screw holes (3, 4) formed in such a manner as to be aligned in an up-and-down direction of the handle. A fixed member (9) is allowed to be fixed to the handle with a screw under a state in which the fixed member is inverted up and down. The fixed member has a pair of screw insertion holes (20) configured to allow insertion of fixing screws (19) that are threadedly engaged with the screw holes formed in the handle. The screw insertion holes are formed in such a manner as to be aligned in the up-and-down direction in a region closer to any one of end portions (21, 22) of the fixed member in the up-and-down direction.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . An archery sight mounting device, which is configured to mount an archery sight to a bow main body of an archery bow including a handle having a pair of screw holes formed in such a manner as to be aligned in an up-and-down direction of the handle, the archery sight mounting device comprising:
 an extension bar to which the archery sight is mounted at a forward end of the extension bar; and   a fixed member, which includes a retaining portion configured to retain a back end side of the extension bar, and is configured to be fixed to the handle of the bow main body through screw fixation,   wherein the fixed member is allowed to be fixed to the handle with a screw under a state in which the fixed member is inverted up and down, and is configured to retain the back end side of the extension bar even under the inverted state,   wherein the fixed member has a pair of screw insertion holes configured to allow insertion of fixing screws that are to be threadedly engaged with the pair of screw holes formed in the handle, and the pair of screw insertion holes is formed in such a manner as to be aligned in the up-and-down direction in a region between one end portion and another end portion of the fixed member in the up-and-down direction, and   wherein the pair of screw insertion holes is arranged in the fixed member in a region closer to any one of the one end portion and the another end portion of the fixed member.   
     
     
         2 . The archery sight mounting device according to  claim 1 , wherein the retaining portion of the fixed member comprises a plurality of retaining portions formed along the up-and-down direction of the fixed member.
