Abstract

Described embodiments provide systems and methods for identifying a context of an endpoint accessing a plurality of microservices is provided. A device intermediary to a plurality of endpoints and a plurality of microservices can receive a plurality of calls to one or more of the plurality of microservices originating from the plurality of endpoints. The device can identify a context for each of the endpoints. The context can include one of a type of device or a type of application. The device can identify, for each unique context, one or more microservices of the accessed by the plurality of endpoints having that unique context. A service graph can be generated to identify the one or more microservices of the plurality of microservices accessed by the plurality of endpoints having that at least one unique context.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
We claim:

         1 . A method comprising:
receiving, by a device, a call from an end point before receipt of the call by at least one of a plurality of microservices, the call to initiate a function of a service; identifying, by the device, a type of device of the end point to enable identification of a microservice of the plurality for use with the type of device; and providing, by the device based at least on the type of device, a service graph that identifies the microservice.

2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the device is intermediary to the end point and the at least one microservice.

3 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising identifying, by the device, the type of device based at least on data of the call.

4 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the type of device comprises one of a desktop device, a mobile device or an Internet of Things (IoT) device.

5 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the type of device comprises identification of a type of operating system of the device.

6 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising displaying, by the device, the service graph to identify the microservice used by the end point.

7 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the service comprises the plurality of microservices.

         8 . A method comprising:
receiving, by a device, a call from an end point before receipt of the call by at least one of a plurality of microservices, the call to initiate a function of an application; Identifying, by the device, a type of application of the end point to enable identification of a microservice of the plurality of microservices used by the type of application; and provide, by the device based at least on the type of application, a service graph that identifies the microservice.

9 . The method of claim 8 , wherein the device is intermediary to the end point and the at least one microservice.

10 . The method of claim 8 , further comprising identifying, by the device, the type of application based at least on data of the call.

11 . The method of claim 8 , wherein the type of application comprises one of a browser, a client application or a mobile application.

12 . The method of claim 8 , further comprising displaying, by the device, the service graph to identify the microservice used by the end point.

         13 . A system comprising:
one or more processors, coupled to memory and configured to: receive a call from an end point before receipt of the call by at least one of a plurality of microservices, wherein the call is to initiate a function of a service; identify one of a type of a device or a type of application of the end point to enable identification of a microservice of the plurality of microservices used by one of the type of device or the type of application; and provide, based at least on the type of device or type of application, a service graph that identifies the microservice.

14 . The system of claim 13 , wherein the one or more processors are intermediary to the end point and the at least one microservice.

15 . The system of claim 13 , wherein the one or more processors are further configured to use data of the call to identify the type of device or the type of application.

16 . The system of claim 13 , wherein the type of device comprises one of a desktop device, a mobile device or an Internet of Things (IoT) device.

17 . The system of claim 13 , wherein the type of device comprises identification of a type of operating system of the device.

18 . The system of claim 13 , wherein the type of application comprises one of a browser, a client application or a mobile application.

19 . The system of claim 13 , wherein the one or more processors are further configured to display the service graph to identify the microservice used by the end point.

20 . The system of claim 13 , wherein the service comprises the plurality of microservices.
