Drywall Installation Support Apparatus
Abstract
A drywall installation support apparatus for one man ceiling drywall installation includes a main panel having a main top side, a main bottom side, a main front edge, a main back edge, a main left edge, and a main right edge. The main left edge and the main right edge has a channel extending therethrough. The main top side has a pole aperture extending through the main bottom side. The pole aperture is configured to receive a tip of a paint pole. A pair of wing panels is slidably coupled within the channel of the main left edge and the main right edge. A distance between an outer edge of each wing panel defines an adjustable length of the apparatus.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A drywall installation support apparatus comprising:
a main panel having a main top side, a main bottom side, a main front edge, a main back edge, a main left edge, and a main right edge, the main left edge and the main right edge having a channel extending therethrough, the main top side having a pole aperture extending through the main bottom side, the pole aperture being configured to receive a tip of a paint pole; a pair of wing panels coupled to the main panel, the pair of wing panels being independently and slidably coupled within the channel of the main left edge and the main right edge, a distance between an outer edge of each wing panel defining an adjustable length of the apparatus; and a plurality of rulers, each ruler being coupled to an associated one of the main panel and each wing panel wherein each ruler coupled to one of the wing panels is independently adjustable relative to each ruler coupled to the main panel.
2 . The drywall installation support apparatus of claim 1 further comprising the main top side having a plurality of locking apertures extending through to the channel; each wing panel having a locking button, the locking button being selectively engageable with each locking aperture.
3 . The drywall installation support apparatus of claim 2 further comprising the plurality of locking apertures comprising a pair of outer apertures and a pair of inner apertures.
4 . The drywall installation support apparatus of claim 2 further comprising each locking aperture and each locking button being square.
5 . The drywall installation support apparatus of claim 1 further comprising a plurality of rulers coupled to the main panel and each wing panel.
6 . The drywall installation support apparatus of claim 5 further comprising each ruler coupled to one of the wing panels being coupled adjacent a wing front edge and a wing back edge of each wing panel and proximal to, but spaced apart from, the main front edge and the main back edge.
7 . The drywall installation support apparatus of claim 1 further comprising at least one level coupled to the main panel within the main top side.
8 . The drywall installation support apparatus of claim 1 further comprising an inner edge of each wing panel having a semicircular notch.
9 . A drywall installation support apparatus comprising:
a main panel having a main top side, a main bottom side, a main front edge, a main back edge, a main left edge, and a main right edge, the main left edge and the main right edge having a channel extending therethrough, the main top side having a pole aperture extending through the main bottom side, the pole aperture being configured to receive a tip of a paint pole, the main top side having a plurality of locking apertures extending through to the channel, the plurality of locking apertures comprising a pair of outer apertures and a pair of inner apertures; a pair of wing panels coupled to the main panel, the pair of wing panels being slidably coupled within the channel of the main left edge and the main right edge, a distance between an outer edge of each wing panel defining an adjustable length of the apparatus, each wing panel having a locking button, the locking button being selectively engageable with each locking aperture, each locking aperture and each locking button being square, an inner edge of each wing panel having a semicircular notch; a plurality of rulers, each ruler being coupled to an associated one of the main panel and each wing panel wherein each ruler coupled to one of the wing panels is independently adjustable relative to each ruler coupled to the main panel each ruler coupled to one of the wing panels being coupled adjacent a wing front edge and a wing back edge of each wing panel and proximal to, but spaced apart from, the main front edge and the main back edge; and at least one level coupled to the main panel within the main top side.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
