Method and electronic device

Abstract

A method implemented by a computer, the method includes: detecting a position of an electronic device capable of communicating with a portable device; setting a range of a position at which the electronic device provides a notification pertaining to the portable device based on a position of the electronic device that has communicated with the portable device; and providing the notification based on the range set in the setting and the position of the electronic device detected in the detecting of a position.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A method implemented by a processor of a first electronic device, the method comprising:
 when a communication between the first electronic device and a second electronic device is established, obtaining information about the second electronic device from the second electronic device; and   providing the obtained information about the second electronic device to a third electronic device.   
     
     
         2 . The method according to  claim 1 , wherein the providing of the obtained information about the second electronic device includes providing positional information of the second electronic device to the third electronic device. 
     
     
         3 . The method according to  claim 2 , wherein the providing of the positional information of the second electronic device includes providing, to the third electronic device, positional information when a communication between the first electronic device and the second electronic device is established. 
     
     
         4 . The method according to  claim 1 , further comprising:
 when a communication between the first electronic device and the second electronic device that is not paired with the first electronic device is established, obtaining the information about the second electronic device from the second electronic device; and   providing the obtained information about the second electronic device to the third electronic device.
