Abstract
A cosmetic brush system includes interchangeable application heads and a handle. The application head is configured to receive and secure the handle via fastening means for use. A base of the head assembly comprises apertures configured to allow fluid to pass therethrough for cleaning and sanitizing bristles of the application head.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A cosmetic brush system comprising:
a cosmetic brush assembly having
a head assembly comprising
an application head comprising bristles or a sponge cosmetic brush with a distal-most aperture;
a tubular member; and
a base connecting to the tubular member;
and
a handle having a distal end,
wherein the application head is located at a distal end of the tubular member, the base is located at a proximal end of the tubular member wherein the cosmetic brush assembly has an assembled configuration in which the head assembly fastens to the distal end of the handle through the base and the cosmetic brush assembly has a disassembled configuration in which handle is separate from the base, and
wherein the base of the head assembly comprises an aperture configured to allow fluid to pass into the tubular member.
2 . The cosmetic brush system of claim 1 , wherein a disk contains the distal-most aperture.
3 . The cosmetic brush system of claim 2 , wherein the distal end of the handle is convex.
4 . The cosmetic brush system of claim 2 , wherein the distal-most aperture is configured to allow fluid to pass out of the head assembly.
5 . The cosmetic brush system of claim 4 , wherein the base fastens to the handle using a twist and lock mechanism.
6 . The cosmetic brush system of claim 1 , wherein the base fastens to the handle using threads.
7 . The cosmetic brush system of claim 1 , wherein the threads on the handle are external.
8 . The cosmetic brush system of claim 7 further comprising a second head assembly fastened to the distal end of the handle.
9 . The cosmetic brush system of claim 3 , wherein the handle comprises a generally tubular profile.
10 . The cosmetic brush system of claim 9 , wherein the handle comprises a ferrule.
11 . The cosmetic brush system of claim 10 wherein the ferrule is crimped to the handle.
12 . The cosmetic brush system of claim 11 , wherein the ferrule comprises a magnet.
13 . The cosmetic brush system of claim 12 , wherein the ferrule fastens the base to the handle.
14 . The cosmetic brush system of claim 9 , wherein the handle friction-fits into the head assembly.
15 . The cosmetic brush system of claim 1 , wherein the bristles of the application head are provided on an outer perimeter of the aperture.
16 . The cosmetic brush system of claim 15 , wherein the bristles comprise synthetic fibers.
17 . The cosmetic brush system of claim 1 , wherein the application head is a cosmetic sponge brush.
18 . The cosmetic brush system of claim 1 , wherein the application head bristles form part of a lipstick application brush.
19 . The cosmetic brush system of claim 1 , wherein the aperture comprises a plurality of circular punctures
20 . A cosmetic brush system comprising:
a cosmetic brush assembly having
two head assemblies having
an application head comprising synthetic fiber bristles;
a tubular member;
and
a base;
and
a handle comprising two ferrules,
wherein the application heads are located at distal ends of the tubular members, the bases are located at proximal ends of the tubular members, and the bases thread to handle ends;
wherein the handle comprises a generally tubular profile;
wherein the ferrules comprise magnets;
wherein the ferrules connect the handle to the head assembly via threads,
wherein the bases of the head assemblies comprise a plurality of circular punctures configured for passing fluid across the bristles, and
wherein the bristles are provided around the apertures.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
