Abstract

An eyelash pad including a base layer, an adhesive layer operatively attached to the base layer, and a removable layer removably attached to the adhesive layer, wherein the eyelash pad is in a curved shape having a concave side and rounded edges, and wherein the eyelash pad is made of a material of 3M™ 9777L microfoam tape or 3M™ 9781 PCV single coated foam medical tape. A method of performing an eyelash service, by removing the removable layer from the adhesive layer of the eyelash pad, wherein the eyelash pad is in a curved shape having a concave side and a convex side and rounded edges, positioning the eyelash pad over lower eyelashes of a user, securing the eyelash pad over the lower eyelashes of the user with the adhesive layer, and performing eyelash services on upper eyelashes of the user.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . An eyelash pad comprising:
 a base layer;   an adhesive layer operatively attached to said base layer; and   a removable layer removably attached to the adhesive layer, wherein said eyelash pad is in a curved shape having a concave side and rounded edges, and wherein said eyelash pad is made of a material chosen from the group consisting of 3M™ 9777L microfoam tape, and 3M™ 9781 PCV single coated foam medical tape.   
     
     
         2 . The eyelash pad of  claim 1 , wherein said removable layer is in the shape of said base layer. 
     
     
         3 . The eyelash pad of  claim 1 , wherein said removable layer is made of a material chosen from the group consisting of paper, plastic, plastic coated paper, wax paper, and silicone coated paper. 
     
     
         4 . The eyelash pad of  claim 1 , wherein said eyelash pad is dye cut. 
     
     
         5 . The eyelash pad of  claim 1 , wherein said removable layer is a sheet and multiple eyelash pads are provided on said sheet. 
     
     
         6 . The eyelash pad of  claim 1 , wherein said curved shape is further defined as a double curved shape with two sets of rounded edges. 
     
     
         7 . The eyelash pad of  claim 1 , wherein said eyelash pad includes a side shape chosen from the group consisting of convex and straight. 
     
     
         8 . A method of performing an eyelash service, including the steps of:
 removing a removable layer from an adhesive layer of an eyelash pad, wherein the eyelash pad includes a base layer, the adhesive layer operatively attached to the base layer, and the removable layer removably attached to the adhesive layer, wherein the eyelash pad is in a curved shape having a concave side and a convex side and rounded edges, wherein the eyelash pad is made of a material chosen from the group consisting of 3M™ 9777L microfoam tape, and 3M™ 9781 PCV single coated foam medical tape;   positioning the eyelash pad over lower eyelashes of a user;   securing the eyelash pad over the lower eyelashes of the user with the adhesive layer; and   performing eyelash services on upper eyelashes of the user.   
     
     
         9 . The method of  claim 8 , wherein the eyelash service is chosen from the group consisting of eyelash extensions, eyelash lifts, and eyelash tints. 
     
     
         10 . The method of  claim 8 , wherein said securing step is further defined as isolating and holding down the lower eyelashes during the eyelash service. 
     
     
         11 . The method of  claim 8 , further including the steps of removing the eyelash pad, repositioning the eyelash pad, and securing the eyelash pad over the lower eyelashes of the user. 
     
     
         12 . The method of  claim 8 , further including the step of removing the eyelash pad without leaving residue from the adhesive layer. 
     
     
         13 . The method of  claim 8 , wherein the removable layer is made of a material chosen from the group consisting of paper, plastic, plastic coated paper, wax paper, and silicone coated paper.
