Selfie capturing device of portable mobile communication terminal and control method therefor

Abstract

Disclosed is a self-portrait photographing device for a portable mobile communication terminal, including: a self-camera module which is installed within a screen area of a display panel, through which an image is output, and captures an image of a subject through a front surface of the display panel; and a controller configured to control operations of the self-camera module and the display panel.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A self-portrait photographing device, comprising:
 a display panel having i) a screen area through which an image is output, and ii) a through hole penetrating a portion of the screen area such that the through hole is surrounded by the screen area;   a self-camera module configured to capture an image of a subject through a front surface of the display panel, the self-camera module including a lens inserted inside the through hole provided in the screen area and an image sensor installed on a rear surface of the lens; and   a controller configured to control operations of the self-camera module and the display panel.   
     
     
         2 . The self-portrait photographing device of  claim 1 , wherein the screen area is filled with liquid crystal molecules or light emitting material therein and the through hole has no liquid crystal molecules or light emitting material therein. 
     
     
         3 . The self-portrait photographing device of  claim 1 , wherein the display panel is install in a front of a housing of any one of a portable mobile communication terminal, a tablet PC, a laptop computer, a monitor of a desktop computer, or a television.
