Abstract

Aspects of this disclosure relate to various systems and methods for use in a regulated industry and using an SEC qualified stablecoin as a store of value and medium of exchange on a blockchain-based transaction network. The system includes a stablecoin blockchain system with a stablecoin blockchain framework, a stablecoin ecosystem, and a stablecoin blockchain transaction network. The stablecoin blockchain system facilitates transactions between stablecoin blockchain participants within the stablecoin ecosystem. The stablecoin ecosystem conducts transactions across a stablecoin blockchain transaction network and a distributed blockchain ledger.

Claims

We claim:

1 . A system for providing a blockchain-based transaction network for a regulated industry, the system comprising:
at least one user device and a stablecoin server for a stablecoin securities entity in network communication with a blockchain-based securities stablecoin platform; a blockchain transaction network operating on the blockchain-based securities stablecoin platform, the blockchain transaction network connected to a tax agent; a distributed blockchain ledger operating on the blockchain transaction network, wherein the blockchain transaction network posts and validates one or more transactions between the stablecoin securities entity and one or more participants in a stablecoin ecosystem on the distributed blockchain ledger; and a SEC qualified stablecoin used as a medium of exchange for the one or more transactions between the stablecoin securities entity and the one or more participants, wherein the one or more transactions include transferring the SEC qualified stablecoins for a product, wherein the blockchain-based securities stablecoin platform automatically provides a tax payment to the tax agent via the blockchain transaction network for the one or more transactions.

2 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the tax payment to the tax agent are in real-time.

3 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the participants in the stablecoin ecosystem comprise one or more of the following: producers, processors, consumers, financial agents, regulatory agents, or tax agents.

4 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the product is a legal cannabis product from a legal dispensary.

5 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the regulated industry includes one or more of the following: legal cannabis industry, real estate industry, tax industry, or liquor distribution industry.

6 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the SEC qualified stablecoin includes one of:
registration, qualification, or exemption under the Securities Act, the Exchange Act, or other applicable U.S. securities laws.

7 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the distributed blockchain ledger is cryptographically-secured.

8 . A system for providing a blockchain-based transaction network for a regulated industry, the system comprising:
at least one user device and a stablecoin server for a stablecoin securities entity in network communication with a blockchain-based securities stablecoin platform; a blockchain transaction network operating on the blockchain-based securities stablecoin platform, the blockchain transaction network connected to a regulatory auditing agent; a distributed blockchain ledger operating on the blockchain transaction network, wherein the blockchain transaction network posts and validates one or more transactions between the stablecoin securities entity and one or more participants in a stablecoin ecosystem on the distributed blockchain ledger; an automated auditing platform in network communication with the blockchain-based securities stablecoin platform, the automated auditing platform provides auditing reports for the transactions within the blockchain transaction network; and a SEC qualified stablecoin used as a medium of exchange for the one or more transactions between the stablecoin securities entity and the one or more participants, wherein the one or more transactions include transferring the SEC qualified stablecoins for a product, wherein the SEC qualified stablecoin includes one of: registration, qualification, or exemption under the Securities Act, the Exchange Act, or other applicable U.S. securities laws.

9 . The system of claim 8 , wherein the participants in the stablecoin ecosystem comprise one or more of the following: producers, processors, consumers, financial agents, regulatory agents, or tax agents.

10 . The system of claim 8 , wherein the product is a legal cannabis product from a legal dispensary.

11 . The system of claim 8 , wherein the regulated industry includes one or more of the following: legal cannabis industry, real estate industry, tax industry, or liquor distribution industry.

12 . The system of claim 8 , wherein the distributed blockchain ledger is cryptographically-secured.

13 . The system of claim 8 , wherein the stablecoin is collateralized by U.S. dollars held in escrow.

14 . A system for providing a blockchain-based transaction network for a regulated industry, the system comprising:
at least one user device and a stablecoin server for a stablecoin securities entity in network communication with a blockchain-based securities stablecoin platform; a blockchain transaction network operating on the blockchain-based securities stablecoin platform, the blockchain transaction network connected to a regulatory auditing agent; a distributed blockchain ledger operating on the blockchain transaction network, wherein the blockchain transaction network posts and validates one or more transactions between the stablecoin securities entity and one or more participants in a stablecoin ecosystem on the distributed blockchain ledger; and a SEC qualified stablecoin used as a medium of exchange for the one or more transactions between the stablecoin securities entity and the one or more participants, wherein the one or more transactions include transferring the SEC qualified stablecoins for a product, wherein the SEC qualified stablecoin includes one of: registration, qualification, or exemption under the Securities Act, the Exchange Act, or other applicable U.S. securities laws, wherein the blockchain-based securities stablecoin platform monitors the distributed blockchain ledger for suspicious activity, specifically monitoring the transactions for one or more of the following: an unusual size, volume, pattern of transaction, or type of transaction, and wherein the blockchain-based securities stablecoin platform provides an automated suspicious activity report (SAR) and other regulatory filings based on the suspicious activity and the transactions posted to the distributed blockchain ledger.

15 . The system of claim 14 , wherein the blockchain-based securities stablecoin platform automatically files a Currency Transaction Report (CTR) based on the transactions posted to the distributed blockchain ledger.

16 . The system of claim 14 , wherein the blockchain-based securities stablecoin platform automatically files a Currency and Monetary Instrument Transportation Report (CMIR) based on the transactions posted to the distributed blockchain ledger.

17 . The system of claim 14 , wherein the participants in the stablecoin ecosystem comprise one or more of the following: producers, processors, consumers, financial agents, regulatory agents, or tax agents.
