Abstract

An air conditioner coil drain line unclogging apparatus for clearing a clogged coil drain line includes an inlet connection configured to attach to an air conditioner coil drain line. A ball valve is coupled to the inlet connection and has a handle coupled to a ball to block and alternatively unblock flow through the inlet connection. A first extension tube is coupled to the inlet connection. A T-fitting has a second inlet end coupled to the first extension tube, a second outlet end, and a perpendicular third inlet end extending between the second inlet end and the second outlet end. The second outlet end is configured to attach to a drain line. A second extension tube is coupled within the third inlet end of the T-fitting. A hose connection is coupled to the second extension and has a threaded hose end configured to selectively engage a water supply line.

I claim:

1 . An air conditioner coil drain line unclogging apparatus comprising:
an inlet connection, the inlet connection having a first inlet end configured to attach to an air conditioner coil drain line and a first outlet end; a ball valve coupled to the inlet connection, the ball valve having a ball coupled within the inlet connection between the first inlet end and the first outlet end and a handle coupled to the ball to block and alternatively unblock flow through the inlet connection; a first extension tube coupled to the inlet connection, the first extension tube being coupled within the first outlet end; a T-fitting coupled to the first extension tube, the T-fitting having a second inlet end coupled to the first extension tube, a second outlet end, and a perpendicular third inlet end extending between the second inlet end and the second outlet end, the second outlet end being configured to attach to a drain line extension; a second extension tube coupled to the T-fitting, the second extension tube being coupled within the third inlet end; and a hose connection coupled to the second extension tube, the hose connection having a threaded hose end configured to selectively engage a water supply line.

2 . The air conditioner coil drain line unclogging apparatus of claim 1 further comprising the handle of the ball valve having a rod coupled to the ball and extending through a shoulder of the inlet connection, a round central portion coupled to the rod, and a pair of tapered wings extending from the round central portion.

3 . The air conditioner coil drain line unclogging apparatus of claim 1 further comprising the inlet connection having a bulged portion to accommodate the ball of the ball valve.

4 . The air conditioner coil drain line unclogging apparatus of claim 1 further comprising the hose connection having a receiving sleeve coupled around the second extension tube, a faceted grip portion coupled to the receiving sleeve, and the threaded hose end extending from the grip portion.

5 . An air conditioner coil drain line unclogging apparatus comprising:
an inlet connection, the inlet connection having a first inlet end configured to attach to an air conditioner coil drain line and a first outlet end; a ball valve coupled to the inlet connection, the ball valve having a ball coupled within the inlet connection between the first inlet end and the first outlet end and a handle having a rod coupled to the ball to block and alternatively unblock flow through the inlet connection, the rod extending through a shoulder of the inlet connection, a round central portion of the handle being coupled to the rod, and a pair of tapered wings extending from the round central portion, the inlet connection having a bulged portion to accommodate the ball; a first extension tube coupled to the inlet connection, the first extension tube being coupled within the first outlet end; a T-fitting coupled to the first extension tube, the T-fitting having a second inlet end coupled to the first extension tube, a second outlet end, and a perpendicular third inlet end extending between the second inlet end and the second outlet end, the second outlet end being configured to attach to a drain line extension; a second extension tube coupled to the T-fitting, the second extension tube being coupled within the third inlet end; and a hose connection coupled to the second extension tube, the hose connection having a receiving sleeve coupled around the second extension tube, a faceted grip portion coupled to the receiving sleeve, and a threaded hose end extending from the grip portion, the threaded hose end being configured to selectively engage a water supply line.

6 . An air conditioner coil drain line unclogging apparatus and drain line system comprising:
an inlet connection, the inlet connection having a first inlet end configured to attach to an air conditioner coil drain line and a first outlet end; a ball valve coupled to the inlet connection, the ball valve having a ball coupled within the inlet connection between the first inlet end and the first outlet end and a handle having a rod coupled to the ball to block and alternatively unblock flow through the inlet connection, the rod extending through a shoulder of the inlet connection, a round central portion of the handle being coupled to the rod, and a pair of tapered wings extending from the round central portion, the inlet connection having a bulged portion to accommodate the ball; a first extension tube coupled to the inlet connection, the first extension tube being coupled within the first outlet end; a T-fitting coupled to the first extension tube, the T-fitting having a second inlet end coupled to the first extension tube, a second outlet end, and a perpendicular third inlet end extending between the second inlet end and the second outlet end; a drain line extension coupled to the T-fitting, the drain line extension being coupled to the second outlet end; a second extension tube coupled to the T-fitting, the second extension tube being coupled within the third inlet end; and a hose connection coupled to the second extension tube, the hose connection having a receiving sleeve coupled around the second extension tube, a faceted grip portion coupled to the receiving sleeve, and a threaded hose end extending from the grip portion, the threaded hose end being configured to selectively engage a water supply line.
