Abstract
The sanitary rim equipment is an apparatus used to help protect users from being exposed to a potential germ that may be left on the surface of a cup or glass in a public setting. In order to accomplish that, the sanitary rim equipment includes a sleeve that snaps down firmly around the rim of the user's cup or glass in a public setting. Further, the sanitary rim equipment is bio-degradable, and eco-friendly, and may be produced in mass quantity, with sizes ranging from Small to X-large.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A sanitary rim equipment comprising:
a sleeve; a recess; the sleeve comprising a first end, a second end, a first lateral sidewall, a second lateral sidewall, and a rim edge; the recess traversing into the sleeve; the first end being positioned opposite to the second end across the sleeve; the recess extending from the second end to a position adjacent the rim edge; the first lateral sidewall being positioned opposite to the second lateral sidewall across the recess; the rim edge being positioned adjacent the first end; the rim edge being perimetrically connected between the first lateral sidewall and the second lateral sidewall; and the rim edge being positioned coextensive to the first lateral sidewall and the second lateral sidewall.
2 . The sanitary rim equipment of claim 1 , wherein a transversal cross section of the recess corresponds to the transversal cross section of the sleeve.
3 . The sanitary rim equipment of claim 1 , wherein a first height of the first lateral sidewall corresponds to a second height of the second lateral sidewall.
4 . The sanitary rim equipment of claim 1 , wherein the sleeve is a continuous and monolithic structure.
5 . The sanitary rim equipment of claim 4 , wherein the rim edge is circular in shape.
6 . The sanitary rim equipment of claim 1 , wherein the sleeve is flexible.
7 . The sanitary rim equipment of claim 1 , wherein the sleeve is positioned over a rim of a cup:
the first lateral sidewall being pressed against an inner sidewall of the cup; the second lateral sidewall being pressed against an outer sidewall of the cup; an upper section of the cup traversing through the recess; and the rim edge being pressed against the rim of the cup.
8 . The sanitary rim equipment of claim 1 , wherein the sleeve comprises a bio-degradable and eco-friendly material.
9 . A sanitary rim equipment comprising:
a sleeve; a recess; the sleeve comprising a first end, a second end, a first lateral sidewall, a second lateral sidewall, and a rim edge; the recess traversing into the sleeve, wherein a transversal cross section of the recess corresponds to the transversal cross section of the sleeve; the first end being positioned opposite to the second end across the sleeve; the recess extending from the second end to a position adjacent the rim edge; the first lateral sidewall being positioned opposite to the second lateral sidewall across the recess; the rim edge being positioned adjacent the first end; the rim edge being perimetrically connected between the first lateral sidewall and the second lateral sidewall; and the rim edge being positioned coextensive to the first lateral sidewall and the second lateral sidewall.
10 . The sanitary rim equipment of claim 9 , wherein a transversal cross section of the recess corresponds to the transversal cross section of the sleeve.
11 . The sanitary rim equipment of claim 9 , wherein a first height of the first lateral sidewall corresponds to a second height of the second lateral sidewall.
12 . The sanitary rim equipment of claim 9 , wherein the sleeve is a continuous and monolithic structure.
13 . The sanitary rim equipment of claim 12 , wherein the rim edge is circular in shape.
14 . The sanitary rim equipment of claim 9 , wherein the sleeve is flexible.
15 . The sanitary rim equipment of claim 9 , wherein the sleeve is positioned over a rim of a cup:
the first lateral sidewall being pressed against an inner sidewall of the cup; the second lateral sidewall being pressed against an outer sidewall of the cup; an upper section of the cup traversing through the recess; and the rim edge being pressed against the rim of the cup.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
