Shower Drain Unclogging System
Abstract
A drain unclogging system includes a three way adapter designed to attach to a shower stub inlet. The disclosed system also includes a hose comprising a first end configured to attach to the hose outlet and a second end comprising an attachment for one of a high durometer handle fixture and an extension hose. The disclosed system additionally includes multiple high durometer handle fixtures comprising a drain unclogging spherical head and a toilet unclogging crescent bulbous head. The system of record further includes one of a three way valve in the three way adapter and a volume control valve in each of the high durometer handle fixtures. A method is disclosed for unclogging one of a drain and a toilet trap via a water flow from the three way adapter through the hose and through the one of a plurality of high durometer handle fixtures.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A drain unclogging system comprising:
a three way adapter configured to attach to a shower stub and comprising an inlet, a hose outlet and a showerhead outlet; a hose comprising a first detachable end configured to attach to the hose outlet and a second detachable end comprising an attachment for a high durometer handle fixture; and a plurality of high durometer handle fixtures comprising a shower head, a drain unclogging head and a toilet unclogging bulbous head.
2 . The system of claim 1 , further comprising a valve switch located in one or more of the high durometer handle fixtures, the valve switch configured to control a passage of fluid from the hose through the respective head.
3 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the three way adapter further comprises a 3 way valve configured to control a passage of fluid from the inlet to one or more of the hose outlet and the shower head outlet.
4 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the hose comprises a nominal 7 foot length configured to bear an accumlated weight of water in the hose on a respective drain and a toilet trap.
5 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the drain unclogging head comprises a low durometer bulbuous component configured to secure itself inside a drain and position the hose second end inside the drain.
6 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the sink unclogging head comprises a low durometer flange and cone-like fixture configured to seal against a sink adjacent a drain thereof and position the hose second end inside the drain.
7 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the toilet unclogging bulbous head comprises a low durometer bulbuous component configured to secure itself inside a toilet trap and position the hose second end inside the toilet trap.
8 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the toilet unclogging bulbous head is configured in a crescent shape from a low durometer material to deflect and seal inside a toilet trap.
9 . The system of claim 1 , further comprising an extension hose having a first end configured to attach to the hose second end and a second end configured to attach to a high durometer handle fixture.
10 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the toilet unclogging bulbous head is configured to expand outwardly to fill a toilet trap under a pressure from a water flow from the shower stub through the system and pass the water flow pressure into the toilet plumbing without backflow.
11 . A drain unclogging method comprising:
attaching a three way adapter to a shower stub, the three way adapter comprising an inlet, a hose outlet and a showerhead outlet; attaching a hose first end to the hose outlet, the hose also comprising a second end with an attachment for a high durometer handle fixture; attaching one of a plurality of high durometer handle fixtures comprising a shower head, a drain unclogging head and a toilet unclogging bulbous head to the hose second end; and unclogging one of a drain and a toilet trap via a water flow from the three way adapter through the hose and through the one of a plurality of high durometer handle fixtures.
12 . The method of claim 11 , further comprising operating a valve switch located in one or more of the high durometer handle fixtures, the valve switch configured to control a passage of fluid from the hose through the respective head.
13 . The method of claim 11 , further comprising operating a 3 way valve in the 3 way adapter configured to control a passage of fluid from the inlet to one or more of the hose outlet and the shower head outlet.
14 . The method of claim 11 , further comprising positioning the hose in a substantially straight line from the shower head to a respective drain and toilet trap to bear an accumlated weight of water in the hose on the respective drain and a toilet trap.
15 . The method of claim 11 , further comprising securing a low durometer bulbous component of the drain unclogging head inside a drain and therefore positioning the hose second end inside the drain.
16 . The method of claim 11 , further comprising sealing the sink unclogging head via a low durometer flange and cone-like fixture against a sink adjacent a drain thereof and therefore position the hose second end inside the drain.
17 . The method of claim 11 , further comprising securing the toilet unclogging bulbous head via a low durometer bulbuous component inside a toilet trap and therefore positioning the hose second end inside the toilet trap.
18 . The method of claim 11 , further comprising outwardly expanding the toilet unclogging bulbous head to expand outwardly to fill a toilet trap under a pressure from a water flow from the shower stub through the system and therefore passing the water flow pressure into the toilet plumbing without backflow.
19 . The method of claim 11 , further comprising attaching an extension hose having a first end configured to attach to the hose second end and a second end configured to attach to a high durometer handle fixture.
20 . A drain unclogging system comprising:
a three way adapter configured to attach to a shower stub and comprising an inlet, a hose outlet and a showerhead outlet; a hose comprising a first end configured to attach to the hose outlet and a second end comprising an attachment for one of a high durometer handle fixture and an extension hose; a plurality of high durometer handle fixtures comprising a drain unclogging spherical head and a toilet unclogging crescent bulbous head; and one of a three way valve in the three way adapter and a volume control valve in each of the high durometer handle fixtures.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
