Cleaning Attachment Assembly
Abstract
A cleaning attachment assembly for a kitchen sprayer and a shower head includes a ring, which has a first end that is configured for insertion of a spray head so that the ring is selectively couplable to the spray head with a second end of the ring extending from the spray head. A cleaning tool is coupled to and extends from the second end of the ring. The cleaning tool is configured for at least one of scrubbing and scraping a soiled article to enhance a degree of cleaning of the soiled article relative to a degree of cleaning of the soiled article achieved solely utilizing water that is sprayed from the spray head.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedI claim:
1 . A cleaning attachment assembly comprising:
a ring having a first end configured for insertion of a spray head such that the ring is selectively couplable to the spray head with a second end of the ring extending from the spray head; and a cleaning tool coupled to and extending from the second end of the ring wherein the cleaning tool is configured for at least one of scrubbing and scraping a soiled article for enhancing a degree of cleaning of the soiled article relative to a degree of cleaning of the soiled article achieved solely utilizing water sprayed from the spray head.
2 . The assembly of claim 1 , further including a coupler coupled to the ring wherein the coupler is configured for selectively coupling to the spray head for removably coupling the ring to the spray head.
3 . The assembly of claim 2 , further including at least the first end of the ring being resiliently deformable and circumferentially smaller than the spray head wherein the ring is configured for stretching for inserting the spray head and for rebounding for coupling to the spray head such that the ring comprises the coupler.
4 . The assembly of claim 1 , further including the ring being internally threaded such that the ring is configured for threadedly coupling to an externally threaded spray head.
5 . The assembly of claim 1 , further including the ring comprising at least one of plastic, silicone, rubber, and metal.
6 . The assembly of claim 1 , further including the cleaning tool comprising at least one of a plurality of bristles and a plate wherein the bristles are configured for brushing the soiled article and a distal edge of the plate is configured for scraping the soiled article.
7 . The assembly of claim 7 , further including the plurality of bristles being positioned in a plurality of sets, the sets being substantially evenly spaced around a circumference of the second end of the ring.
8 . The assembly of claim 7 , further including the bristles comprising at least one of plastic, silicone, rubber, and metal.
9 . The assembly of claim 7 , further including the plate being coupled to and extending between opposing sides of the ring proximate to a bottom of the ring.
10 . The assembly of claim 7 , further including a lip coupled of the ring and extending radially into the ring wherein the lip is configured for abutting the spray head inserted into the ring such that the ring is fixedly positioned relative to the spray head.
11 . The assembly of claim 10 , further including the lip being at least one of planar and concavely arcuate when viewed from the first end of the ring.
12 . The assembly of claim 10 , further comprising:
the lip being positioned proximate to the first end; and the first end being at least one of circumferentially smaller and circumferentially larger relative to the second end of the ring.
13 . The assembly of claim 10 , further comprising:
the first end of the ring being circumferentially equivalent to the second end of the ring; the lip being positioned adjacently to the second end; and the sets being alternately coupled to the second end of the ring and the lip.
14 . A cleaning attachment assembly and spray head combination comprising:
a ring; a spray head inserted into a first end of the ring such that the ring is coupled to the spray head with a second end of the ring extending from the spray head; and a cleaning tool coupled to and extending from the second end of the ring wherein the cleaning tool is configured for at least one of scrubbing and scraping a soiled article for enhancing a degree of cleaning of the soiled article relative to a degree of cleaning of the soiled article achieved solely utilizing water sprayed from the spray head.
15 . A cleaning attachment assembly comprising:
a ring having a first end configured for insertion of a spray head such that the ring is selectively couplable to the spray head with a second end of the ring extending from the spray head, the first end being at least one of circumferentially equivalent, circumferentially smaller, and circumferentially larger relative to the second end of the ring; a coupler coupled to the ring wherein the coupler is configured for selectively coupling to the spray head for removably coupling the ring to the spray head, at least the first end of the ring being resiliently deformable and circumferentially smaller than the spray head wherein the ring is configured for stretching for inserting the spray head and for rebounding for coupling to the spray head such that the ring comprises the coupler, the ring comprising at least one of plastic, silicone, rubber, and metal; a cleaning tool coupled to and extending from the second end of the ring wherein the cleaning tool is configured for at least one of scrubbing and scraping a soiled article for enhancing a degree of cleaning of the soiled article relative to a degree of cleaning of the soiled article achieved solely utilizing water sprayed from the spray head, the cleaning tool comprising at least one of a plurality of bristles and a plate wherein the bristles are configured for brushing the soiled article and a distal edge of the plate is configured for scraping the soiled article , the plurality of bristles being positioned in a plurality of sets, the sets being substantially evenly spaced around a circumference of the second end of the ring, the bristles comprising at least one of plastic, silicone, rubber, and metal, the plate being coupled to and extending between opposing sides of the ring proximate to a bottom of the ring; and a lip coupled of the ring and extending radially into the ring wherein the lip is configured for abutting the spray head inserted into the ring such that the ring is fixedly positioned relative to the spray head, the lip being at least one of planar and concavely arcuate when viewed from the first end of the ring, the lip being positioned at least one of adjacently to the second end and proximate to the first end, the sets being alternately coupled to the second end of the ring and the lip.
16 . The assembly of claim 15 , further including the ring being internally threaded such that the ring is configured for threadedly coupling to an externally threaded spray head.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
