Abstract

A display device is provided. The display device includes a substrate having a surface including a display area; a plurality of light-emitting diodes disposed on the display area of the substrate, wherein the light-emitting diode includes an electrode; and a plurality of bonding pads disposed on the substrate; a conductive element disposed between one of the plurality of bonding pads and the electrode of the at least one of the plurality of light-emitting diodes; and a first matrix element disposed on the substrate, wherein in a cross-sectional view, the first matrix element is disposed between adjacent two of the plurality of light-emitting diodes, and the electrode has a sidewall profile and at least a part of the sidewall profile of the electrode is in a shape of a curve.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A display device, comprising:
 a substrate having a surface comprising a display area;   a plurality of light-emitting diodes disposed on the display area of the substrate, wherein at least one of the plurality of light-emitting diodes comprises an electrode;   a plurality of bonding pads disposed on the substrate;   a conductive element disposed between one of the plurality of bonding pads and the electrode of the at least one of the plurality of light-emitting diodes; and   a first matrix element disposed on the substrate,   wherein in a cross-sectional view, the first matrix element is disposed between adjacent two of the plurality of light-emitting diodes, and the electrode has a sidewall profile and at least a part of the sidewall profile of the electrode is in a shape of a curve.   
     
     
         2 . The display device as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein the at least one of the plurality of light-emitting diodes comprises an insulating layer and a semiconductor layer, wherein the insulating layer is disposed on a part of the semiconductor layer. 
     
     
         3 . The display device as claimed in  claim 2 , wherein the insulating layer has a sidewall profile in a cross-sectional view, and at least a part of the sidewall profile of the insulating layer is in a shape of a curve. 
     
     
         4 . The display device as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein the first matrix element is disposed between adjacent two of the plurality of bonding pads. 
     
     
         5 . The display device as claimed in  claim 1 , further comprising an array layer disposed on the substrate, wherein the array layer comprises a plurality of thin film transistors. 
     
     
         6 . The display device as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein the conductive element is a bump or an anisotropic conductive layer. 
     
     
         7 . The display device as claimed in  claim 1 , further comprising a second matrix element, wherein the first matrix element is disposed between the second matrix element and the substrate, and in a cross-sectional view, a maximum width of the second matrix element is greater than a maximum width of the first matrix element. 
     
     
         8 . The display device as claimed in  claim 7 , wherein the second matrix element overlaps the first matrix element. 
     
     
         9 . The display device as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein in a cross-sectional view, at least one of the plurality of bonding pads has a sidewall profile, and at least a part of the sidewall profile of the at least one of the plurality of bonding pads is in a shape of a curve. 
     
     
         10 . A display device, comprising:
 a substrate having a surface comprising a display area;   a plurality of light-emitting diodes disposed on the display area of the substrate, wherein at least one of the plurality of light-emitting diodes comprises an electrode;   a plurality of bonding pads disposed on the substrate;   a conductive element disposed between one of the plurality of bonding pads and the electrode of the at least one of the plurality of light-emitting diodes; and   a matrix structure disposed on the substrate and comprising a plurality of first matrix elements in a cross-sectional view, and one of the plurality of first matrix elements disposed between adjacent two of the plurality of light-emitting diodes,   wherein in a cross-sectional view, the electrode has a sidewall profile, and at least a part of the sidewall profile of the electrode is in a shape of a curve.   
     
     
         11 . The display device as claimed in  claim 10 , wherein the at least one of the plurality of light-emitting diodes comprises an insulating layer and a semiconductor layer, wherein the insulating layer is disposed on a part of the semiconductor layer. 
     
     
         12 . The display device as claimed in  claim 11 , wherein the insulating layer has a sidewall profile in a cross-sectional view, and at least a part of the sidewall profile of the insulating layer is in a shape of a curve. 
     
     
         13 . The display device as claimed in  claim 10 , wherein the one of the plurality of first matrix elements is disposed between adjacent two of the plurality of bonding pads. 
     
     
         14 . The display device as claimed in  claim 10 , further comprising an array layer disposed on the substrate, wherein the array layer comprises a plurality of thin film transistors. 
     
     
         15 . The display device as claimed in  claim 10 , wherein the conductive element is a bump or an anisotropic conductive layer. 
     
     
         16 . The display device as claimed in  claim 10 , wherein the matrix structure further comprises a plurality of second matrix elements, the plurality of first matrix elements is disposed between the plurality of second matrix elements and the substrate, and in a cross-sectional view, a maximum width of one of the plurality of second matrix elements is greater than a maximum width of the one of the plurality of first matrix elements. 
     
     
         17 . The display device as claimed in  claim 16 , wherein the one of the plurality of second matrix elements overlaps the one of the plurality of first matrix elements. 
     
     
         18 . The display device as claimed in  claim 10 , wherein in a cross-sectional view, at least one of the plurality of bonding pads has a sidewall profile, and at least a part of the sidewall profile of the at least one of the plurality of bonding pads is in a shape of a curve.
