Abstract

A drinking container with an integrated valve that uses surface tension to control the flow of fluid.

1 . A fluid container comprising:
 a container body formed of a unitary piece of metal configured to hold fluid within a chamber, the container body including a continuous metal outer diameter,   a container lid formed of a unitary piece of metal, the container lid being configured to be coupled with the container body via a metal on metal seal.   
     
     
         2 . The fluid container of  claim 1 , further comprising:
 beveled threads on the container lid;   mating threads on the container lid, wherein the beveled threads and the mating threads are configured to be coupled together to form the metal on metal seal.   
     
     
         3 . The fluid container of  claim 1 , further including:
 a rolled lip positioned on a proximal end of the container body, the rolled lip being outwardly turning, the rolled lip being substantially circular in shape.   
     
     
         4 . The fluid container of  claim 3 , further comprising:
 a groove with a sloped sidewall having a first tangential angle to the rolled lip to supply a first contact point with the rolled lip and an indentation having a second tangential angle to the rolled lip to supply a second contact point with the rolled lip.   
     
     
         5 . The fluid container of  claim 5 , wherein the sloped sidewall directly contacts the rolled lip at the first contact point and the indentation directly contacts the rolled lip at the second contact point. 
     
     
         6 . The fluid container of  claim 5 , wherein the metal on metal seal includes the first contact point and the second contact point. 
     
     
         7 . The fluid container of  claim 5 , wherein the first tangential angle and the second tangential angle increase a diameter of a continuous metal inner diameter of the container lid. 
     
     
         8 . The fluid container of  claim 5 , wherein the rolled lip has sidewalls of a first thickness, the first thickness being less than a thickness of the continuous metal outer diameter of the container body. 
     
     
         9 . The fluid container of  claim 1 , wherein the container body formed of a unitary piece of metal is formed of stainless steel. 
     
     
         10 . The fluid container of  claim 1 , wherein the container lid includes an integrated valve. 
     
     
         11 . The fluid container of  claim 10 , wherein the integrated valve includes a plurality of holes extending through the unitary piece of metal that does not include any additional parts or components.
