Abstract

A response management system for a building including memory devices configured to store instructions that cause processors to identify an associated digital standard operating procedure for one or more identified events, identify a responder associated with the standard operating procedure and notify the responder of the standard operating procedure to be conducted in response to the identified events, and monitor the responder conducting the standard operating procedure in response to the identified events. The responder receives a first user interface to a user device indicating an area of the one or more identified events and the standard operating procedure to be conducted, and the responder receives additional including status of the conduction of the standard operating procedure and request for input of data from the responder on the first user interface or a second user interface, the input indicating progression of the standard operating procedure.

         24 . A response management system of a building, the response management system comprising one or more memory devices configured to store instructions that, when executed by one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to:
 identify a standard operating procedure for an event;   identify a responder associated with the standard operating procedure and notify the responder of the standard operating procedure to be conducted within the building; and   monitor the responder conducting the standard operating procedure by:
 providing a first user interface to a user device of the responder indicating an area associated with the event and the standard operating procedure to be conducted; and 
 providing additional information to the user device including status of the conduction of the standard operating procedure and a request for input of data from the responder on the first user interface or a second user interface, the input indicating progression of the standard operating procedure. 
   
     
     
         25 . The response management system of  claim 24 , wherein the responder is identified based on known technical experience relating to the event and tasks relevant to the standard operating procedure. 
     
     
         26 . The response management system of  claim 24 , wherein the event comprises at least one of an alarm or a user action. 
     
     
         27 . The response management system of  claim 24 , wherein the event comprises a manual triggering of the standard operating procedure by a user. 
     
     
         28 . The response management system of  claim 24 , wherein a location of the responder is identified and the responder identified is the responder having the location nearest the area of the event. 
     
     
         29 . The response management system of  claim 24 , wherein the first user interface or the second user interface includes instructions for conducting the identified standard operating procedure. 
     
     
         30 . The response management system of  claim 24 , wherein the first user interface or the second user interface includes instructions for conducting the identified standard operating procedure, with the instructions comprising a task list. 
     
     
         31 . The response management system of  claim 24 , wherein the identified standard operating procedure for the event is determined using a decision model created using a decision model notation editor comprising a visualization-based editor interface.

The response management system of  claim 31 , wherein the decision model includes rules-based procedural actions corresponding to the standard operating procedure for the event and is configured to determine one or more of the procedural actions to be implemented based on the event. 
     
     
         33 . The response management system of  claim 24 , wherein first user interface or the second user interface includes a BPMN file generated using a BPMN editor, wherein the BPMN file comprises procedural actions for the standard operating procedure corresponding to the event. 
     
     
         34 . A building management system for a building, comprising:
 a response management system comprising one or more memory devices configured to store instructions that, when executed by one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to:   collect data from one or more sensors within the building, the data indicating operation of the building;   identify an event within the data and extract components of the data for which an associated standard operating procedure exists;   identify the associated standard operating procedure for the event and a responder class associated with the standard operating procedure;   identify a responder of the responder class associated with the standard operating procedure and notify the responder of the standard operating procedure to be conducted in response to the event; and   monitor the responder conducting the standard operating procedure, wherein:   the responder receives a first user interface to a user device indicating an area of the event and the standard operating procedure to be conducted; and   the responder receives additional user interfaces to the user device indicating status of the conduction of the standard operating procedure and requesting input of data from the responder, the input indicating progression of the standard operating procedure.   
     
     
         35 . The building management system of  claim 34 , wherein the responder class is identified based on known technical experience relating to the event and the standard operating procedure. 
     
     
         36 . The building management system of  claim 34 , wherein a location of members of the responder class is identified. 
     
     
         37 . The building management system of  claim 36 , wherein the responder is the member of the responder class identified as having the location nearest the area of the event. 
     
     
         38 . The building management system of  claim 34 , wherein the user interface includes instructions for conducting the identified standard operating procedure. 
     
     
         39 . The building management system of  claim 34 , wherein the user interface includes instructions for conducting the identified standard operating procedure, with the instructions comprising a task list. 
     
     
         40 . The building management system of  claim 39 , wherein the identified standard operating procedure for the event is determined using a decision model created using a decision model notation editor comprising a visualization-based editor interface.

The building management system of  claim 39 , wherein multiple responder classes receive different versions of the first user interface and receive different versions of additional user interfaces indicating status of the conduction of the standard operating procedure and requesting input of data indicating progression of the standard operating procedure. 
     
     
         42 . The building management system of  claim 34 , wherein the first user interface includes an indication of the location of the event in the building relative to a location of the responder. 
     
     
         43 . A method of implementing standard operating procedures for a building, the method comprising:
 collecting data from one or more sensors within the building, the data indicating operation of the building;   identifying an event within the data for which an associated standard operating procedure exists;   identifying the associated standard operating procedure for the event and a responder class associated with the identified standard operating procedure;   identifying a responder of the responder class associated with the standard operating procedure and notify the responder of the standard operating procedure to be conducted in response to the event; and   monitoring the responder conducting the standard operating procedure, wherein:   the responder receives a first user interface to a user device indicating the event and the standard operating procedure to be conducted; and   the responder receives additional user interfaces to the user device indicating status of the conduction of the standard operating procedure and requesting input of data from the responder, the input indicating progression of the standard operating procedure.
