Abstract

An electronic device is disclosed herein, including a first face oriented in a first direction, the first face formed having a curvature and disposed as to be visible from an exterior of the electronic device, a body including a second face oriented towards a second direction opposite to the first direction, the second face visible from the exterior, and a display module visible when viewing the first face, the display module including a flexible display disposed under a window, and the window including a central visible area formed in a substantially rectangular shape including first, second, third and fourth visible areas disposed adjacent to four respective edges of the central visible area.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . An electronic device comprising:
 a flexible display;   a window formed at least part of a front surface of the electronic device and disposed over the flexible display, the window including a visible area and a bezel area surrounding the visible area; and   a frame including an outer face formed at least part of a lateral surface of the electronic device,   wherein the bezel area including a first side area, a second side area and a corner area located between the first side area and the second side area, at least one of the first side area or the second side area is formed in substantially parallel to the outer face of the frame, and   wherein, when viewed in a direction substantially perpendicular to the lateral surface of the electronic device, the corner area is formed to be gradually raised in a direction that the front surface of the electronic device faces, as closer to a corner portion of the electronic device.   
     
     
         2 . The electronic device of  claim 1 , wherein, when viewed in a direction substantially perpendicular to the lateral surface of the electronic device, the first side area and the second side area are located lower than the corner area. 
     
     
         3 . The electronic device of  claim 1 , wherein the window includes a planar area forming at least part of a planar portion of the front surface of the electronic device, and first and second curved areas respectively bent from adjacent edges of the visible area, and
 wherein, when viewed in the direction substantially perpendicular to the rear surface of the electronic device, a width of the first curved area is different from a width of the second curved area.   
     
     
         4 . The electronic device of  claim 1 , wherein the window includes a planar area forming at least part of a planar portion of the front surface of the electronic device, and first and second curved areas respectively bent from adjacent edges of the visible display area, and
 wherein, when viewed in the direction substantially perpendicular to the rear surface of the electronic device, a curvature of the first curved area is different from a curvature of the second curved area.   
     
     
         5 . The electronic device of  claim 1 , wherein the window is attached with the frame, such that the window is surrounded by the frame when viewed in a direction substantially perpendicular to the front surface of the electronic device. 
     
     
         6 . The electronic device of  claim 1 , wherein, when viewed in a direction perpendicular to the front surface of the electronic device, the lateral surface of the frame more protrudes than an edge of the window. 
     
     
         7 . The electronic device of  claim 1 , wherein a stepped portion is formed between the frame and the edge of the window. 
     
     
         8 . The electronic device of  claim 1 , wherein an edge of the window is attached to the lateral surface of the frame. 
     
     
         9 . The electronic device of  claim 1 , wherein, when viewed from above, the window is substantially rectangular shaped. 
     
     
         10 . The electronic device of  claim 1 , wherein the first side area of the bezel area is formed in parallel to the lateral surface of the frame,
 wherein the second side area of the bezel area is formed in parallel to the lateral surface of the frame.   
     
     
         11 . The electronic device of  claim 10 , wherein the first and second side areas are parallel and substantially perpendicular to each other. 
     
     
         12 . The electronic device of  claim 1 , wherein the corner area of the bezel area is located at four positions. 
     
     
         13 . An electronic device comprising:
 a display;   a window formed at least part of a front surface of the electronic device and disposed over the display, the window including a visible central area and a black matrix line surrounding the visible area; and   a housing including at least part of a lateral surface of the electronic device,   wherein the black matrix line including a first side area, a second side area and a corner area located between the first side area and the second side area, and   wherein, when viewed in a direction substantially perpendicular to the lateral surface of the electronic device, the corner area is formed to be gradually raised in a direction that the front surface of the electronic device faces, as closer to a corner portion of the electronic device.   
     
     
         14 . The electronic device of  claim 13 , wherein, when viewed in a direction perpendicular to the front surface of the electronic device, the lateral surface of the housing more protrudes than an edge of the window. 
     
     
         15 . The electronic device of  claim 13 , wherein a stepped portion is formed between the housing and the edge of the window. 
     
     
         16 . The electronic device of  claim 13 , wherein, when viewed from above, the window is substantially rectangular shaped. 
     
     
         17 . The electronic device of  claim 13 , wherein the first side area of the black matrix line is formed in parallel to the lateral surface of the housing. 
     
     
         18 . The electronic device of  claim 17 , wherein the second side area of the black matrix line is formed in parallel to the lateral surface of the housing. 
     
     
         19 . The electronic device of  claim 13 , wherein the first and second side areas are parallel and substantially perpendicular to each other. 
     
     
         20 . The electronic device of  claim 13 , wherein the corner area of the black matrix line is located at four positions.
