Abstract
Vascular treatment and methods include a plurality of self-expanding bulbs and a hypotube including interspersed patterns of longitudinally spaced rows of kerfs. Joints between woven structures and hypotubes include solder. Woven structures include patterns of radiopaque filaments measureable under x-ray. Structures are heat treated to include at least shapes at different temperatures. A catheter includes a hypotube including interspersed patterns of longitudinally spaced rows of kerfs. Heat treating systems include a detachable flange. Laser cutting systems include a fluid flow system.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . (canceled)
2 . A system for facilitating aspiration of material within a body, the system comprising:
a catheter comprising:
a lumen; and
a variably slotted hypotube comprising a plurality of interspersed cut patterns,
wherein the hypotube is configured to inhibit collapse of the lumen during application of negative suction applied through the lumen; and
an automated negative suction device comprising a vacuum pump configurable to generate suction patterns, wherein at least one suction pattern of the suction patterns comprises a plurality of intensity levels, and wherein the plurality of intensity levels comprises a first intensity level and a second intensity level.
3 . The system of claim 2 , wherein the automated negative suction device comprises power electronics configured to control at least one of an intensity or a duration of negative suction pressure of the suction patterns.
4 . The system of claim 3 , wherein the power electronics comprise a customized integrated circuit board or an integrated chip.
5 . The system of claim 4 , wherein at least some of the suction patterns are stored in the power electronics.
6 . The system of claim 2 , wherein suction pressure of the first intensity level is between −551 and −769 mm Hg, and wherein suction pressure of the second intensity level is between −100 and −350 mm Hg.
7 . The system of claim 2 , wherein the suction patterns comprise repetitive cycles.
8 . The system of claim 2 , wherein the catheter is selected from the group consisting of: a microcatheter, a distal access microcatheter, a guide catheter, and a balloon catheter.
9 . A system for facilitating aspiration of material within a body, the system comprising:
a suction device configured to generate a plurality of suction patterns; wherein at least one suction pattern of the plurality of suction patterns comprises a plurality of intensity levels, wherein the plurality of intensity levels comprises a first intensity level and a second intensity level.
10 . The system of claim 9 , wherein the at least one suction pattern comprises a repetitive cycle of the first intensity level having a first negative pressure and the second intensity level having a second negative pressure different than the first negative pressure.
11 . The system of claim 9 :
wherein the suction device is an automated negative suction device comprising power electronics configured to control at least one of an intensity or a duration of negative suction pressure of the plurality of suction patterns, wherein the power electronics comprise a customized integrated circuit board or an integrated chip, and wherein at least some of the plurality of suction patterns are stored in the power electronics.
12 . The system of claim 9 , wherein suction pressure of the first intensity level is between −551 and −769 mm Hg, and wherein suction pressure of the second intensity level is between −100 and −350 mm Hg.
13 . The system of claim 9 , wherein suction pressure of the first intensity level is between −551 and −769 mm Hg, and wherein suction pressure of the second intensity level is between −351 and −550 mm Hg.
14 . The system of claim 9 , wherein the at least one suction pattern comprises a pause duration wherein suction is paused.
15 . The system of claim 9 , wherein the at least one suction pattern comprises pauses between the plurality of intensity levels.
16 . A system for facilitating aspiration of material within a body, the system comprising:
an automated negative suction device comprising a vacuum pump configurable to generate suction patterns, wherein at least one of the suction patterns comprises a plurality of suction intensity levels; and a catheter comprising:
a variably slotted hypotube comprising a plurality of interspersed cut patterns; and
a lumen.
17 . The system of claim 16 :
wherein the hypotube is configured to inhibit collapse of the lumen during application of negative suction applied through the lumen, wherein the catheter has a wall thickness between 0.02 mm and 1 mm, and wherein the catheter has a length between 80 cm and 150 cm.
18 . The system of claim 17 , wherein the catheter further comprises a polymer having variable braiding parameters, and wherein a durometer of the polymer changes along a length of the catheter.
19 . The system of claim 16 , wherein the lumen comprises a gradual tapering of inner diameter from a proximal end to a distal end of the catheter.
20 . The system of claim 16 , wherein the lumen has a uniform diameter along the length of the catheter.
21 . The system of claim 16 , wherein the catheter is selected from the group consisting of: a microcatheter, a distal access microcatheter, a guide catheter, and a balloon catheter.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
