System and method for a unified connected network
Abstract
Various aspects of a system and method to provide a unified connected network are disclosed herein. The system comprises a server communicatively coupled to an electronic control unit (ECU) of a vehicle and a first set of electronic devices. Upon detection of an event, the server receives a first set of data from the ECU and/or a second set of data from the first set of electronic devices associated with a plurality of services. The server extracts information from the received first set and/or the second set of data, based on analysis of the received first set and/or the second set of data. The server further determines one or more responses that correspond to the detected event, based on the extracted information. The server further transmits the determined one or more responses to a second set of electronic devices associated with the plurality of services.

a server; and one or more circuits in said server, wherein said one or more circuits are configured to:
receive a first set of data from an electronic control unit (ECU) of a vehicle based on detection of an event, wherein said event is detected by said ECU;
receive a second set of data from a database, based on said reception of said first set of data, wherein
said second set of data is associated with at least one service of a plurality of services,
said database is external to each of said server and said vehicle, and
said database is associated with said at least one service;
extract specific information from said second set of data;
determine a response corresponding to said event, based on said extracted specific information;
generate a first instruction based on said determined response; and
transmit said generated first instruction to a first electronic device associated with a first service of said at least one service.
2 . The system according to claim 1 , wherein
said one or more circuits are further configured to generate a second instruction based on said first set of data, and said generated second instruction is associated with a second service of said plurality of services.
3 . The system according to claim 2 , wherein said one or more circuits are further configured to transmit said generated second instruction to a second electronic device associated with said second service.
4 . The system according to claim 2 , wherein at least one of said first instruction or said second instruction is associated with a vehicle maintenance service.
5 . The system according to claim 1 , wherein said second set of data comprises information associated with a vehicle maintenance service provider pre-registered by a user of said vehicle.
6 . The system according to claim 5 , wherein said second set of data further comprises a rating associated with said vehicle maintenance service provider.
7 . The system according to claim 1 , wherein said one or more circuits are further configured to transmit said determined response to said vehicle via an established communication channel.
8 . The system according to claim 1 , wherein said first instruction comprises at least one of a set of user-defined permissions, a set of stored user preferences, or a user input.
9 . The system according to claim 1 , wherein said one or more circuits are further configured to receive an operating status of a second electronic device from said database that is external to each of said server and said vehicle.
10 . A method, comprising:
in a server: receiving a first set of data from an electronic control unit (ECU) of a vehicle based on detection of an event, wherein said event is detected by said ECU; receiving a second set of data from a database, based on said reception of said first set of data, wherein
said second set of data is associated with at least one service of a plurality of services,
said database is external to each of said server and said vehicle, and
said database is associated with said at least one service;
extracting specific information from said second set of data; determining a response corresponding to said event, based on said extracted specific information; generating a first instruction based on said determined response; and transmitting said generated first instruction to an electronic device associated with a first service of said at least one service.
11 . The method according to claim 10 , further comprising generating a second instruction based on said first set of data, wherein said generated second instruction is associated with a second service of said plurality of services.
12 . A non-transitory computer-readable medium having stored thereon computer-executable instructions, which when executed by a processor of a server, cause said processor to execute operations, said operations comprising:
receiving a first set of data from an electronic control unit (ECU) of a vehicle based on detection of an event, wherein said event is detected by said ECU; receiving a second set of data from a database, based on said reception of said first set of data, wherein
said second set of data is associated with at least one service of a plurality of services,
said database is external to each of said server and said vehicle, and
said database is associated with said at least one service;
extracting specific information from said second set of data; determining a response corresponding to said event, based on said extracted specific information; generating a first instruction based on said determined response; and transmitting said generated first instruction to an electronic device associated with a first service of said at least one service.
13 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium according to claim 12 , wherein
