Carry System for Personal Watercraft

Abstract

Carry system for personal watercraft is disclosed. In one example, the carry system is used to carry a personal watercraft overhead. In another example, the carry system is used as a seat for the rider of the personal watercraft.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A carry system for personal watercraft, the carry system for personal watercraft comprising:
 a. a track system, mountable to the surface of or molded into a personal watercraft;   b. a carriage, removably secured to the track system with fastener that allows the carriage to be moved fore and aft relative to the track system;   c. an adjustment mechanism securing the carriage in a selected fixed position relative to the track system; and   d. A shoulder rest/seat arrangement, mounted to the carriage, the shoulder rest/seat arrangement providing a seat for a user for the personal watercraft and for providing a shoulder rest for the user during transport of the personal watercraft.   
     
     
         2 . The carry system for personal watercraft of  claim 1 , wherein the track system includes a pair of tracks. 
     
     
         3 . The carriage for personal watercraft of  claim 1 , wherein a padded shoulder rest/seat bottom comprised of two padded straps. 
     
     
         4 . The padded shoulder rest/seat bottom of  claim 3 , wherein the distance between the padded straps can be adjusted. 
     
     
         5 . A personal watercraft, comprising:
 a. a watercraft; and   b. the carry system for personal watercraft comprising:
 i. a track system, mounted to the surface of or molded into a personal watercraft; 
 ii. a carriage, removably secured to the track system with fastener that allows the carriage to be moved fore and aft relative to the track system; 
 iii. an adjustment mechanism securing the carriage in a selected fixed position relative to the track system; and 
 iv. A shoulder rest/seat arrangement, mounted to the carriage, the shoulder rest/seat arrangement providing a seat for a user for the personal watercraft and for providing a shoulder rest for the user during transport of the personal watercraft. 
   
     
     
         6 . The track system for personal watercraft of  claim 1 , wherein the track system is permanently mounted, either mechanically, or by an adhesive such as epoxy.
