Abstract

A wireless communication method for a user equipment (UE) includes obtaining, by the UE, a first search space configuration provided by a base station through remaining minimum system information (RMSI) or a handover (HO) command; and monitoring and receiving, by the UE, physical downlink control channels (PDCCHs) in a random access channel (RACH) procedure according to the first search space configuration.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

1 . A wireless communication method for a user equipment (UE), comprising:
obtaining, by the UE, a first search space configuration provided by a base station through remaining minimum system information (RMSI) or a handover (HO) command; and monitoring and receiving, by the UE, physical downlink control channels (PDCCHs) in a random access channel (RACH) procedure according to the first search space configuration.

2 . The wireless communication method of claim 1 , further comprising:
obtaining, by the UE, a first control resource set (CORSET) configuration provided by the base station through high layer signaling.

3 . The wireless communication method of claim 2 , wherein the first search space configuration indicates related information of the first CORSET configuration.

4 . The wireless communication method of claim 2 , wherein the high layer signaling is carried by a major system information block (MIB), the RMSI or the HO command.

5 . The wireless communication method of claim 1 , wherein the Cyclic Redundancy Check (CRC) of the PDCCH is scrambled by a random access-Radio Network Temporary Identifier (RA-RNTI), a Temporary Cell-RNTI (TC-RNTI) or a Cell-RNTI (C-RNTI).

6 . The wireless communication method of claim 1 , wherein the first search space configuration is a common search space or a UE-specific search space.

7 . The wireless communication method of claim 1 , further comprising:
if the first search space configuration is not provided by the base station through the RMSI or the HO command, monitoring and receiving, by the UE, the PDCCHs in the RACH procedure according to a second search space configuration or a part of the second search space configuration, wherein the second search space configuration is utilized to schedule the RMSI.

8 . The wireless communication method of claim 2 , further comprising:
if the first CORSET configuration is not provided by the base station through the higher layer signaling, determining, by the UE, the first CORESET configuration is the same as a second CORESET configuration, wherein the second CORESET configuration is utilized to schedule the RMSI.

9 . A user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system , comprising:
a processor, obtaining a first search space configuration provided by a base station through remaining minimum system information (RMSI) or a handover (HO) command, and monitoring and receiving physical downlink control channels (PDCCHs) in a random access (RACH) procedure according to the first search space configuration.

10 . The UE of claim 9 , wherein the processor obtains a first control resource set (CORSET) configuration provided by the base station through high layer signaling.

11 . The UE of claim 10 , wherein the first search space configuration indicates related information of the first CORSET configuration.

12 . The UE of claim 10 , wherein the high layer signaling is carried by a major system information block (MIB), the RMSI or the HO command.

13 . The UE of claim 9 , wherein the Cyclic Redundancy Check (CRC) of the PDCCH is scrambled by a random access-Radio Network Temporary Identifier (RA-RNTI), a Temporary Cell-RNTI (TC-RNTI) or a Cell-RNTI (C-RNTI).

14 . The UE of claim 9 , wherein the first search space configuration is a common search space or a UE-specific search space.

15 . The UE of claim 9 , wherein if the first search space configuration is not provided by the base station through the RMSI or the HO command, the processor monitors and receives the PDCCHs in the RACH procedure according to a second search space configuration or a part of the second search space configuration, wherein the second search space configuration is utilized to schedule the RMSI.

16 . The communication method of claim 10 , wherein if the first CORSET configuration is not provided by the base station through the higher layer signaling, the processor determines that the first CORESET configuration is the same as a second CORESET configuration, wherein the second CORESET configuration is utilized to schedule the RMSI.

17 . A wireless communication method for a base station, comprising:
providing, by the base station, a first search space configuration to a user equipment (UE) through remaining minimum system information (RMSI) or a handover (HO) command to monitor and receive physical downlink control channels (PDCCHs) in a random access (RACH) procedure according to the first search space configuration.

18 . The wireless communication method of claim 17 , further comprising:
providing a first control resource set (CORSET) configuration to the UE through higher layer level signaling.

19 . The wireless communication method of claim 18 , wherein the high layer signaling is carried by a major system information block (MIB), the RMSI or the HO command.
