Abstract
A urination funnel assembly for capturing urine from a male includes a panel that is positionable on a bowl of a commode. The panel has an ovoid shape thereby facilitating the panel to conform to the shape of an opening in the bowl of the commode. A funnel is coupled to the panel and the funnel extends upwardly from the panel when the panel is positioned on the bowl of the commode. In this way the funnel is positioned for receiving urine from a male. The funnel has a widened mouth to inhibit urine from splashing onto the floor or the commode when the male urinates into the funnel.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedI claim:
1 . A urination funnel assembly being configured to be mounted to a commode for directing urine into the commode, said assembly comprising:
a panel being positionable on a bowl of a commode, said panel having an ovoid shape thereby facilitating said panel to conform to the shape of an opening in the bowl of the commode; and a funnel being coupled to said panel, said funnel extending upwardly from said panel when said panel is positioned on the bowl of the commode wherein said funnel is configured to be positioned for receiving urine from a male, said funnel having a widened mouth wherein said funnel is configured to inhibit urine from splashing onto the floor or the commode when the male urinates into said funnel.
2 . The assembly according to claim 1 , wherein said panel has a top surface, a bottom surface and a perimeter edge extending therebetween, said perimeter edge being continuously arcuate about a center point of said panel, said panel being elongated along a longitudinal axis extending between a forward end and a rearward end of said panel such that said perimeter edge defines said ovoid shape, said bottom surface resting on the bowl of the commode.
3 . The assembly according to claim 2 , wherein said panel has an opening extending through said top surface and said bottom surface wherein said opening is configured to have urine pass therethrough to enter the bowl, said opening being positioned closer to said forward end than said rearward end.
4 . A urination funnel assembly being configured to be mounted to a commode for directing urine into the commode, said assembly comprising:
a panel being positionable on a bowl of a commode, said panel having an ovoid shape thereby facilitating said panel to conform to the shape of an opening in the bowl of the commode, said panel having a top surface, a bottom surface and a perimeter edge extending therebetween, said perimeter edge being continuously arcuate about a center point of said panel, said panel being elongated along a longitudinal axis extending between a forward end and a rearward end of said panel such that said perimeter edge defines said ovoid shape, said bottom surface resting on the bowl of the commode, said panel having an opening extending through said top surface and said bottom surface wherein said opening is configured to have urine pass therethrough to enter the bowl, said opening being positioned closer to said forward end than said rearward end; and a funnel being coupled to said panel, said funnel extending upwardly from said panel when said panel is positioned on the bowl of the commode wherein said funnel is configured to be positioned for receiving urine from a male, said funnel having a widened mouth wherein said funnel is configured to inhibit urine from splashing onto the floor or the commode when the male urinates into said funnel.
5 . The assembly according to claim 4 , wherein said funnel has a bottom end, a top end and an outer wall extending therebetween, said outer wall tapering inwardly between said top end and said bottom end such that said top end has a larger diameter than said bottom end, said top end defining said widened mouth of said funnel, said funnel extending through said opening in said panel having said bottom end of said funnel being spaced from said bottom surface of said panel.
6 . The assembly according to claim 5 , wherein said top end has a front side and a back side, said top end having a raised portion extending along said front side, said outer wall being curved such that said top end is angled toward said forward end of said panel wherein said top end is configured to be directed toward the male for enhancing urinating into said funnel.
7 . A urination funnel assembly being configured to be mounted to a commode for directing urine into the commode, said assembly comprising:
a panel being positionable on a bowl of a commode, said panel having an ovoid shape thereby facilitating said panel to conform to the shape of an opening in the bowl of the commode, said panel having a top surface, a bottom surface and a perimeter edge extending therebetween, said perimeter edge being continuously arcuate about a center point of said panel, said panel being elongated along a longitudinal axis extending between a forward end and a rearward end of said panel such that said perimeter edge defines said ovoid shape, said bottom surface resting on the bowl of the commode, said panel having an opening extending through said top surface and said bottom surface wherein said opening is configured to have urine pass therethrough to enter the bowl, said opening being positioned closer to said forward end than said rearward end; and a funnel being coupled to said panel, said funnel extending upwardly from said panel when said panel is positioned on the bowl of the commode wherein said funnel is configured to be positioned for receiving urine from a male, said funnel having a widened mouth wherein said funnel is configured to inhibit urine from splashing onto the floor or the commode when the male urinates into said funnel, said funnel having a bottom end, a top end and an outer wall extending therebetween, said outer wall tapering inwardly between said top end and said bottom end such that said top end has a larger diameter than said bottom end, said top end defining said widened mouth of said funnel, said funnel extending through said opening in said panel having said bottom end of said funnel being spaced from said bottom surface of said panel, said top end having a front side and a back side, said top end having a raised portion extending along said front side, said outer wall being curved such that said top end is angled toward said forward end of said panel wherein said top end is configured to be directed toward the male for enhancing urinating into said funnel.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
