Abstract
The present disclosure provides off-the-shoulder garments comprising a securing device disposed below an axilla (e.g., armpit) of the user.

6 : An off-the-shoulder garment comprising:
a securing device attached at a first end to a first, posterior portion of the garment and further attached at a second end of the securing device to a second, anterior portion of the garment; and an arm hole defined at least in part by the securing device and a segment of fabric of the garment for covering at least a portion of an outer surface of an arm of a user,
wherein the securing device is disposed below an axilla (e.g., armpit) of the user when the user wears the garment.
7 : The off-the shoulder garment of claim 6 , wherein the securing device is attached at the first end to the first, posterior portion of the article of clothing by a first securement device.
8 : The off-the shoulder garment of claim 6 , wherein the securing device is attached at the second end to the second, anterior portion of the article of clothing by a second securement device.
9 : The off-the shoulder garment of claim 7 , wherein the securing device comprises a band of material, and wherein the first securement device includes a baretachment component comprising a first bar pin and configured to prevent the band of elastic material from rotating (e.g., twisting) relative to the first bar pin.
10 : The off-the shoulder garment of claim 7 , wherein the securing device comprises a band of material, and wherein the second securement device includes a baretachment component for preventing the band of material from rotating (e.g., twisting) relative to the second securement device.
11 : The off-the shoulder garment of claim 7 , wherein the securing device comprises a band of material, and wherein the first securement device includes a first bar pin component associated with a second component including a window configured to receive the band of elastic material therethrough and to prevent the band of elastic material from rotating (e.g., twisting) relative to the first bar pin component.
