Pharmaceutical compound for treating colorectal cancer

Abstract

A pharmaceutical compound TG1 (2, 3, 5, 4′-tetrahydroxy-trans-stilbene) and a new use for treating colorectal cancer thereof are provided. The pharmaceutical composition of the present invention has the structure of formula I shown as below. Each variable in formula I and treating method are detailed in the specification.

         wherein: R1, R2, R3, R4, R5 and R6 comprise a substituent which increases the water solubility of the pharmaceutical compound; or a pharmaceutically acceptable cis-trans isomer thereof. 
       
     
     
         2 . The pharmaceutical compound of  claim 1 , wherein R1, R2, R3, R4, R5 and R6 comprise —H, —NH2, —OH, —C═O. 
     
     
         3 . The pharmaceutical compound of  claim 2 , wherein R1, R2, R3, R4, R5 and R6 are —H. 
     
     
         4 . The pharmaceutical compound of  claim 1 , wherein the pharmaceutical compound has the specific effect of inhibiting the growth of colorectal cancer cells. 
     
     
         5 . The pharmaceutical compound of  claim 4 , wherein the pharmaceutical compound has the specific effect of inhibiting the growth of rectal cancer cells.
