Claims

Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a method for reporting channel state information, a terminal, and a base station. A resource for an aperiodic channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) is determined by the terminal according to an information for triggering an aperiodic channel state information (CSI) report sent by the base station, wherein the information for triggering the aperiodic CSI report indicates the resource for the aperiodic CSI-RS, and the aperiodic CSI report derived according to the aperiodic CSI-RS on the resource for the aperiodic CSI-RS is sent by the terminal to the base station. The base station transmits a CSI-RS only when the terminal needs to report the aperiodic CSI.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A method carried out by a terminal, the method comprising:
 receiving, from a network device, an information for triggering an aperiodic channel state information (CSI) report, wherein the information for triggering the aperiodic CSI report indicates a resource for an aperiodic channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS);   determining the resource for the aperiodic CSI-RS according to the information for triggering the aperiodic CSI report; and   sending, to the network device, the aperiodic CSI report derived according to the aperiodic CSI-RS on the resource for the aperiodic CSI-RS.   
     
     
         2 . The method according to  claim 1 , wherein the information for triggering the aperiodic CSI report is carried in downlink control information (DCI). 
     
     
         3 . The method according to  claim 2 , wherein the DCI and the resource for the aperiodic CSI-RS are in a same time unit. 
     
     
         4 . The method according to  claim 2 , wherein the DCI is in a time unit n, and the aperiodic CSI-RS is in the time unit n. 
     
     
         5 . The method according to  claim 2 , wherein the offset between the time unit containing the DCI and the time unit containing the resource for the aperiodic CSI-RS is k5, wherein k5 is an integer greater than or equal to 0. 
     
     
         6 . The method according to  claim 2 , wherein the DCI is in a time unit n, and the resource for the aperiodic CSI-RS is in a time unit n+k5, wherein k5 is an integer greater than or equal to 0. 
     
     
         7 . The method according to  claim 6 , wherein the determining the resource for the aperiodic CSI-RS according to the information for triggering the aperiodic CSI report, comprises:
 determining the resource for the aperiodic CSI-RS according to the information for triggering the aperiodic CSI report and a high layer signaling configuration information.   
     
     
         8 . The method according to  claim 1 , wherein the resource for the aperiodic CSI-RS is a resource for an aperiodic non-zero power CSI-RS. 
     
     
         9 . The method according to  claim 1 , further comprising:
 receiving, from the network device, a measurement resource configuration indication information, wherein the measurement resource configuration indication information indicates at least one of a number of CSI-RS antenna ports, a CSI-RS configuration or a zero power CSI-RS configuration.   
     
     
         10 . The method according to  claim 9 , wherein the measurement resource configuration indication information is semi-statically configured for the terminal. 
     
     
         11 . The method according to  claim 1 , further comprising:
 deriving the aperiodic CSI report according to the aperiodic CSI-RS on the resource for the aperiodic CSI-RS.   
     
     
         12 . A communication apparatus, comprising:
 one or more processors; and   a non-transitory computer readable storage medium storing a program for execution by the one or more processors, the program including instructions for causing the communication apparatus to carry out a method comprising:   receiving, from a network device, an information for triggering an aperiodic channel state information (CSI) report, wherein the information for triggering the aperiodic CSI report indicates a resource for an aperiodic channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS);   determining the resource for the aperiodic CSI-RS according to the information for triggering the aperiodic CSI report; and   sending to the network device, the aperiodic CSI report derived according to the aperiodic CSI-RS on the resource for the aperiodic CSI-RS.   
     
     
         13 . The communication apparatus according to  claim 12 , wherein the information for triggering the aperiodic CSI report is carried in downlink control information (DCI). 
     
     
         14 . The communication apparatus according to  claim 13 , wherein the DCI and the resource for the aperiodic CSI-RS are in a same time unit. 
     
     
         15 . The communication apparatus according to  claim 13 , wherein the DCI is in a time unit n, and the aperiodic CSI-RS is in the time unit n. 
     
     
         16 . The communication apparatus according to  claim 13 , wherein the offset between the time unit containing the DCI and the time unit containing the resource for the aperiodic CSI-RS is k5, wherein k5 is an integer greater than or equal to 0. 
     
     
         17 . The communication apparatus according to  claim 13 , wherein the DCI is in a time unit n, and the resource for the aperiodic CSI-RS is in a time unit n+k5, wherein k5 is an integer greater than or equal to 0. 
     
     
         18 . The communication apparatus according to  claim 17 , wherein the instructions of determining the resource for the aperiodic CSI-RS according to the information for triggering the aperiodic CSI report, comprises:
 determining the resource for the aperiodic CSI-RS according to the information for triggering the aperiodic CSI report and a high layer signaling configuration information.   
     
     
         19 . The communication apparatus according to  claim 12 , wherein the resource for the aperiodic CSI-RS is a resource for an aperiodic non-zero power CSI-RS. 
     
     
         20 . The communication apparatus according to  claim 12 , the program further including instructions for:
 receiving from the network device, a measurement resource configuration indication information, wherein the measurement resource configuration indication information indicates at least one of a number of CSI-RS antenna ports, a CSI-RS configuration or a zero power CSI-RS configuration.   
     
     
         21 . The communication apparatus according to  claim 20 , wherein the measurement resource configuration indication information is semi-statically configured for the communication apparatus. 
     
     
         22 . The communication apparatus according to  claim 20 , the program further including instructions for:
 deriving the aperiodic CSI report according to the aperiodic CSI-RS on the resource for the aperiodic CSI-RS.
