Abstract
The invention relates to a spray pipe (1), in particular for a printing press roller cleaning device, wherein the spray pipe (1) extends at least in regions in a longitudinal direction and has a plurality of liquid discharge openings (5, 7, 11) which are formed in a wall of the spray pipe (1), wherein a first liquid discharge opening (5) extends with respect to a first direction and a second liquid discharge opening (7) adjacent to the first liquid discharge opening (5) extends in relation to a second direction, the second direction being different from the first direction in such a way that the direction vectors (6, 8) of the first and the second direction intersect in an atomizing region (10) which is spaced apart from the lateral surface (9) of the spray pipe (1).

A spray pipe ( 1 ) for a printing press roller cleaning device, wherein at least parts of the spray pipe ( 1 ) extend in a longitudinal direction and include a plurality of fluid discharge openings ( 5 , 7 , 11 ) formed in a wall of the spray pipe ( 1 ), wherein a first fluid discharge opening ( 5 ) extends with respect to a first direction and a second fluid discharge opening ( 7 ) adjacent to the first fluid discharge opening ( 5 ) extends with respect to a second direction, wherein the second direction differs from the first direction such that direction vectors ( 6 , 8 ) of the first and second directions intersect in an atomizing region ( 10 ) distanced from a surface area ( 9 ) of the spray pipe ( 1 ).

The spray pipe ( 1 ) according to claim 1 , wherein the spray pipe ( 1 ) has a plurality of the first fluid discharge openings ( 5 ) with associated second fluid discharge openings ( 7 ), wherein the respective direction vectors of the directions, relative to which the first and second fluid discharge openings ( 5 , 7 ), are aligned and lie in a common plane.

The spray pipe ( 1 ) according to claim 1 , wherein the direction vectors ( 6 , 8 ) of the first and second direction intersect in the atomizing region ( 10 ) at an intercept point, the shortest distance of which to the surface area ( 9 ) of the spray pipe ( 1 ) is at most three times an inner diameter of the spray pipe.

The spray pipe ( 1 ) according to claim 1 , wherein the direction vectors ( 6 , 8 ) of the first and second direction intersect in the atomizing region ( 10 ) at an intercept point, the shortest distance of which to the surface area ( 9 ) of the spray pipe ( 1 ) is at least one half times an inner diameter of the spray pipe.
5 . The spray pipe ( 1 ) according to claim 1 , wherein an angle spanned between the first direction vector ( 6 ) and a line intersecting the first fluid discharge opening ( 5 ) and perpendicular to the surface area ( 9 ) of the spray tube ( 1 ) is between 10° to 50°.
6 . The spray pipe ( 1 ) according to claim 1 , wherein an angle spanned between the second direction vector ( 8 ) and a line intersecting the second fluid discharge opening ( 7 ) and perpendicular to the surface area ( 9 ) of the spray tube ( 1 ) is between 10° to 50°.
7 . The spray pipe ( 1 ) according to claim 1 , wherein the fluid discharge openings ( 5 , 7 , 11 ) each have a diameter of between 0.1 mm and 2.0 mm.
8 . The spray pipe ( 1 ) according to claim 1 , wherein the spray pipe ( 1 ) exhibits a length of between 0.5 m and 1.5 m and between 40 and 120 fluid discharge openings ( 5 , 7 , 11 ).
9 . The spray pipe ( 1 ) according to claim 1 , wherein the fluid discharge openings ( 5 , 7 , 11 ) are arranged in a straight line extending in the longitudinal direction of the spray pipe ( 1 ) on the surface area ( 9 ) of said spray pipe ( 1 ).
10 . The spray pipe ( 1 ) according to claim 1 , wherein discharge openings ( 5 , 7 , 11 ) are each formed as holes having a at least a substantially constant inner diameter.

The spray pipe ( 1 ) according to claim 1 , wherein discharge openings ( 5 , 7 , 11 ) are adapted and configured on the spray pipe such that at a nozzle pressure of between 0.5 bar to 2.5 bar, jets of fluid exiting from the first and second fluid discharge openings ( 5 , 7 ) are completely atomized at the point at which the direction vectors ( 6 , 8 ) of the first and second direction intersect.
12 . The spray pipe ( 1 ) according to claim 1 , wherein the spray pipe ( 1 ) exhibits a first end region and an oppositely disposed second end region, wherein at least the fluid discharge opening ( 11 ) abutting the first or second end region extends along a direction at a direction vector which is at least substantially perpendicular to the surface area ( 9 ) of the spray pipe ( 1 ).
13 . The spray pipe ( 1 ) of claim 1 comprising a fluid applicator of a printing press roller cleaning device for cleaning the rotating rollers of a roller train containing a plurality of successive printing press rollers.
14 . The spray pipe ( 1 ) of claim 1 comprising a wash bar wherein the spray pipe is adapted and configured to moisten a wash cloth section of a wash cloth for cleaning the surface area ( 9 ) of a cylinder to be cleaned in the printing press.

The spray pipe ( 1 ) of claim 1 comprising a wash brush wherein the spray pipe is adapted and configured to moisten a wash brush for cleaning the surface area ( 9 ) of a cylinder to be cleaned in the printing press. cm 16 . The spray pipe ( 1 ) according to claim 5 , wherein the angle spanned between the first direction vector ( 6 ) and the line intersecting the first fluid discharge opening ( 5 ) and the perpendicular to the surface area ( 9 ) of the spray tube ( 1 ) is between 25° and 35°.
17 . The spray pipe ( 1 ) according to claim 6 , wherein an angle spanned between the second direction vector ( 8 ) and the line intersecting the second fluid discharge opening ( 7 ) and the perpendicular to the surface area ( 9 ) of the spray tube ( 1 ) is between 25° to 35°.
18 . The spray pipe ( 1 ) according to claim 7 , wherein the diameters of the fluid discharge openings ( 5 , 7 , 11 ) are between 0.3 mm and 0.5 mm.
19 . The spray pipe ( 1 ) according to claim 1 , wherein a number of fluid discharge openings ( 5 , 7 , 11 ) and the distance between the at least one first fluid discharge opening ( 5 ) and its adjacent second fluid discharge opening ( 7 ) is selected such that at the nozzle pressure of between 0.5 bar to 2.5 bar, jets of fluid exiting from the first and second fluid discharge openings ( 5 , 7 ) are completely atomized at the point at which the direction vectors ( 6 , 8 ) of the first and second direction intersect.
20 .
