Physical activity and workout monitor
Abstract
The present disclosure relates to devices and processes for monitoring attributes of a user's physical activity (e.g., workout) or inactivity, and to user interfaces (e.g., an activity indicator) for displaying the same. In some examples, a device determines whether physical activity corresponds to a first type based on a first set of criteria, and whether physical activity corresponds to a second type based on a second set of criteria. In some examples, the device controls an inactivity timer that measures user's inactivity. In some examples, the device displays a first visual representation of an attribute or amount of a first type of physical activity, and a second visual representation of an attribute or amount of a second type. In some examples, the device displays a third visual representation of an attribute or amount of a third type of activity. In some examples, the third visual representation corresponds to user's inactivity.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . An electronic device, comprising:
a touch-sensitive display: one or more processors; and memory storing one or more programs configured to be executed by the one or more processors, the one or more programs including instructions for:
receiving activity data corresponding to physical activity performed by a user of the electronic device; and
displaying, on the touch-sensitive display, a first user interface that includes concurrent display of:
a visual indication of at least a portion of the activity data; and
an achievement menu user interface object;
detecting user input corresponding to selection of the achievement menu user interface object; and
in response to detecting the user input:
ceasing to display the first user interface and the visual indication of the at least a portion of the activity data; and
displaying, on the touch-sensitive display, a second user interface including an achievement user interface object, wherein display of the achievement user interface object includes:
in accordance with a determination that the activity data indicates that a set of achievement criteria are met, displaying the achievement user interface object with a first visual characteristic; and
in accordance with a determination that the activity data indicates that the set of achievement criteria are not met, displaying the achievement user interface object with a second visual characteristic, different from the first visual characteristic.
2 . The electronic device of claim 1 , wherein the achievement user interface object corresponds to a best workout, fastest run, longest run, and/or exercising for a consecutive, predetermined number of days.
3 . The electronic device of claim 1 , wherein the one or more programs include instructions for:
detecting a second user input corresponding to selection of the achievement user interface object; and in response to detecting the second user input, displaying, on the display, information corresponding to an achievement associated with the achievement user interface object.
4 . The electronic device of claim 3 , wherein the information corresponding to the achievement associated with the achievement user interface object includes a date the achievement was completed, characteristics of the achievement, or both.
5 . The electronic device of claim 1 , wherein the set of achievement criteria include a criterion that is met when an achievement associated with the achievement user interface object has been completed.
6 . The electronic device of claim 1 , wherein the first visual characteristic includes displaying the achievement user interface object in color and the second visual characteristic includes displaying the achievement user interface object in grayscale.
7 . A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing one or more programs configured to be executed by one or more processors of an electronic device with a touch-sensitive display, the one or more programs including instructions for:
receiving activity data corresponding to physical activity performed by a user of the electronic device; and displaying, on the touch-sensitive display, a first user interface that includes concurrent display of:
a visual indication of at least a portion of the activity data; and
an achievement menu user interface object;
detecting user input corresponding to selection of the achievement menu user interface object; and in response to detecting the user input:
ceasing to display the first user interface and the visual indication of the at least a portion of the activity data; and
displaying, on the touch-sensitive display, a second user interface including an achievement user interface object, wherein display of the achievement user interface object includes:
in accordance with a determination that the activity data indicates that a set of achievement criteria are met, displaying the achievement user interface object with a first visual characteristic; and
in accordance with a determination that the activity data indicates that the set of achievement criteria are not met, displaying the achievement user interface object with a second visual characteristic, different from the first visual characteristic.
8 . The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 7 , wherein the achievement user interface object corresponds to a best workout, fastest run, longest run, and/or exercising for a consecutive, predetermined number of days.
9 . The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 7 , wherein the one or more programs include instructions for:
detecting a second user input corresponding to selection of the achievement user interface object; and in response to detecting the second user input, displaying, on the display, information corresponding to an achievement associated with the achievement user interface object.
10 . The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 9 , wherein the information corresponding to the achievement associated with the achievement user interface object includes a date the achievement was completed, characteristics of the achievement, or both.
11 . The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 7 , wherein the set of achievement criteria include a criterion that is met when an achievement associated with the achievement user interface object has been completed.
12 . The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 7 , wherein the first visual characteristic includes displaying the achievement user interface object in color and the second visual characteristic includes displaying the achievement user interface object in grayscale.
13 . A method, comprising:
at an electronic device including a touch-sensitive display:
receiving activity data corresponding to physical activity performed by a user of the electronic device; and
displaying, on the touch-sensitive display, a first user interface that includes concurrent display of:
a visual indication of at least a portion of the activity data; and
an achievement menu user interface object;
detecting user input corresponding to selection of the achievement menu user interface object; and
in response to detecting the user input:
ceasing to display the first user interface and the visual indication of the at least a portion of the activity data; and
displaying, on the touch-sensitive display, a second user interface including an achievement user interface object, wherein display of the achievement user interface object includes:
in accordance with a determination that the activity data indicates that a set of achievement criteria are met, displaying the achievement user interface object with a first visual characteristic; and
in accordance with a determination that the activity data indicates that the set of achievement criteria are not met, displaying the achievement user interface object with a second visual characteristic, different from the first visual characteristic.
14 . The method of claim 13 , wherein the achievement user interface object corresponds to a best workout, fastest run, longest run, and/or exercising for a consecutive, predetermined number of days.
15 . The method of claim 13 , further comprising:
detecting a second user input corresponding to selection of the achievement user interface object; and in response to detecting the second user input, displaying, on the display, information corresponding to an achievement associated with the achievement user interface object.
16 . The method of claim 15 , wherein the information corresponding to the achievement associated with the achievement user interface object includes a date the achievement was completed, characteristics of the achievement, or both.
17 . The method of claim 13 , wherein the set of achievement criteria include a criterion that is met when an achievement associated with the achievement user interface object has been completed.
18 . The method of claim 13 , wherein the first visual characteristic includes displaying the achievement user interface object in color and the second visual characteristic includes displaying the achievement user interface object in grayscale.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
