Abstract
According to the present invention, there is provided a method of decoding an image, the method including: partitioning a current block into multiple sub-blocks; performing intra prediction on a first sub-block among the multiple sub-blocks by using a first sub reference sample line; and performing intra prediction on a second sub-block among the multiple sub-blocks by using a second sub reference sample line. Herein, an intra prediction mode of the first sub-block and an intra prediction mode of the second sub-block are the same.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A method of decoding an image, the method comprising:
partitioning a current block into multiple sub-blocks; performing intra prediction on a first sub-block among the multiple sub-blocks by using a first sub reference sample line; and performing intra prediction on a second sub-block among the multiple sub-blocks by using a second sub reference sample line, wherein an intra prediction mode of the first sub-block and an intra prediction mode of the second sub-block are the same.
2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein a partition type of the current block is determined on the basis of at least one among a size, a shape, and an intra prediction mode of the current block.
3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the second sub reference sample line includes a reference sample included in a line not adjacent to the second sub-block.
4 . The method of claim 3 , wherein the reference sample is included in a line adjacent to a top or a left side of the current block.
5 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the second sub reference sample line includes a first reference sample included in the first sub-block, and a second reference sample derived by adding offset to the first reference sample.
6 . The method of claim 5 , wherein the offset is acquired on the basis of offset between the first reference sample and a neighboring reference sample adjacent to the first reference sample.
7 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the second sub reference sample line includes a first reference sample included in the first sub-block, and a third reference sample derived by adding offset to a second reference sample included in a line adjacent to the first sub-block.
8 . A method of encoding an image, the method comprising:
partitioning a current block into multiple sub-blocks; performing intra prediction on a first sub-block among the multiple sub-blocks by using a first sub reference sample line; and performing intra prediction on a second sub-block among the multiple sub-blocks by using a second sub reference sample line, wherein an intra prediction mode of the first sub-block and an intra prediction mode of the second sub-block are the same.
9 . The method of claim 8 , wherein a partition type of the current block is determined on the basis of at least one among a size, a shape, and an intra prediction mode of the current block.
10 . The method of claim 8 , wherein the second sub reference sample line includes a reference sample included in a line not adjacent to the second sub-block.
11 . The method of claim 10 , wherein the reference sample is included in a line adjacent to a top or a left side of the current block.
12 . The method of claim 8 , wherein the second sub reference sample line includes a first reference sample included in the first sub-block, and a second reference sample derived by adding offset to the first reference sample.
13 . The method of claim 12 , wherein the offset is acquired on the basis of offset between the first reference sample and a neighboring reference sample adjacent to the first reference sample.
14 . The method of claim 8 , wherein the second sub reference sample line includes a first reference sample included in the first sub-block, and a third reference sample derived by adding offset to a second reference sample included in a line adjacent to the first sub-block.
15 . An apparatus for decoding an image, the apparatus comprising:
an intra prediction module partitioning a current block into multiple sub-blocks, performing intra prediction on a first sub-block among the multiple sub-blocks by using a first sub reference sample line, and performing intra prediction on a second sub-block among the multiple sub-blocks by using a second sub reference sample line, wherein an intra prediction mode of the first sub-block and an intra prediction mode of the second sub-block are the same.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
