Biometric-recognition display panel
Abstract
A biometric-recognition display panel is provided. The biometric-recognition display panel includes a substrate, a pixel array, a plurality of sensing circuits and a control circuit. The substrate includes a display area. The pixel array is disposed on the display area and the pixel array includes a plurality of pixels. The sensing circuits are disposed on the display area and each of the sensing circuits generates a threshold voltage by sensing the intensity of light. The control circuit performs biometric recognition according to each of the threshold voltages generated by each of the sensing circuits.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A biometric-recognition display panel, comprising:
a substrate, comprising a display area; a pixel array, disposed on the display area and comprising a plurality of pixels; a plurality of sensing circuits, disposed on the display area and each of the sensing circuits generates a threshold voltage by sensing intensity of light; a control circuit, performing biometric recognition according to each of the threshold voltages generated by each of the sensing circuits; and a plurality of sub-pixels, wherein each of the sub-pixels is coupled to a respective data line, wherein one of the sensing circuits is configured in one of the sub-pixels.
2 . The biometric-recognition display panel of claim 1 , wherein one of the sensing circuits comprises a transistor and a capacitor.
3 . The biometric-recognition display panel of claim 1 , wherein one of the sensing circuits comprises a first transistor and a second transistor.
4 . The biometric-recognition display panel of claim 3 , further comprising:
a light-shielding layer, covering at least one of the first transistor and the second transistor.
5 . The biometric-recognition display panel of claim 1 , wherein the sensing circuit and the sub-pixel are coupled to different respective data lines, and the control circuit drives the sensing circuit and the sub-pixel at the same time.
6 . The biometric-recognition display panel of claim 1 , wherein the sub-pixel provides a light source to the sensing circuit.
7 . The biometric-recognition display panel of claim 1 , wherein each of the sensing circuits is configured in each of the sub-pixels of the pixel.
8 . The biometric-recognition display panel of claim 1 , further comprising:
a back light module, providing a light source to the sensing circuit.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
