Abstract

A method for random access in an idle state and a device, in which the method includes: sending, by user equipment (UE), a random access preamble to a evolved NodeB (eNB), and receiving a random access response message that is sent by the eNB according to the random access preamble; sending, by the UE, a first message to the eNB according to first uplink grant information; and receiving, by the UE, second uplink grant information sent by the eNB, and sending to-be-sent data to the eNB according to the second uplink grant information. According to the method for random access in an idle state and the device provided in the embodiments of the present invention, accuracy of uplink resource allocation is improved during random access of UE in an idle state.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A method for random access, the method comprising:
 sending, by a user equipment (UE), a random access preamble to a base station;   receiving, by the UE, a random access response message from the base station, wherein the random access response message carries a first uplink grant information and a temporary cell radio network temporary identifier;   sending, if an uplink resource indicated by the first uplink grant information can bear to-be-sent data by the UE, a second message to the base station;   wherein the second message carries the to-be-sent data and an identity of the UE.   
     
     
         2 . The method according to  claim 1 , wherein the second message further indicates that the second message is directly transmitting data. 
     
     
         3 . The method according to  claim 1 , wherein the method further comprises:
 sending, if the uplink resource indicated by the first uplink grant information cannot bear the to-be-sent data, by the UE, a first message to the base station, wherein the first message carries a buffer status report and an identity of the UE.   
     
     
         4 . The method according to  claim 3 , wherein the first message further carries data priority information which indicates a priority of the to-be-sent data. 
     
     
         5 . The method according to  claim 3 , wherein the first message further carries part of the to-be-sent data. 
     
     
         6 . The method according to  claim 3 , wherein the first message further comprises:
 a second message identifier which indicates that the first message carries the buffer status report, and a UE identity, wherein the second message identifier of the buffer status report comprises a logical channel number, and the UE identity comprises: a temporary mobile subscriber identity, an international mobile subscriber identity, or an international mobile equipment identity of the UE.   
     
     
         7 . A method for random access, the method comprising:
 receiving, by a base station, a random access preamble from a user equipment (UE);   sending, by the base station, a random access response message to the UE according to the random access preamble, wherein the random access response message carries first uplink grant information and a temporary cell radio network temporary identifier;   receiving, by the base station, a second message to the base station, wherein the second message carries the to-be-sent data and an identity of the UE.   
     
     
         8 . The method according to  claim 7 , wherein the second message further indicates that the second message is directly transmitting data. 
     
     
         9 . User equipment (UE), comprising:
 a sender, configured to send a random access preamble to a base station;   a receiver, configured to receive a random access response message from the base station, wherein the random access response message carries a first uplink grant information and a temporary cell radio network temporary identifier; and   a processor, configured to send, by the sender, a second message to the base station if an uplink resource indicated by the first uplink grant information can bear to-be-sent data;   wherein the second message carries the to-be-sent data and an identity of the UE.   
     
     
         10 . The user equipment according to  claim 9 , wherein the second message further indicates that the second message is directly transmitting data. 
     
     
         11 . The user equipment according to  claim 9 , wherein the sender is further configured to send a first message to the base station if the uplink resource indicated by the first uplink grant information cannot bear the to-be-sent data, and wherein the first message carries a buffer status report and an identity of the UE. 
     
     
         12 . The user equipment according to  claim 11 , wherein the first message further carries data priority information which indicates a priority of the to-be-sent data. 
     
     
         13 . The user equipment according to  claim 11 , wherein the first message further carries part of the to-be-sent data. 
     
     
         14 . The user equipment according to  claim 11 , wherein the first message further comprises:
 a second message identifier which indicates that the first message carries the buffer status report, and a UE identity, wherein the second message identifier of the buffer status report comprises a logical channel number, and the UE identity comprises: a temporary mobile subscriber identity, an international mobile subscriber identity, or an international mobile equipment identity of the UE.
