Abstract
A valve timing system including a crankshaft drive gear coupled to the crankshaft in working communication with a crankshaft connecting rod gear further including a primary connecting rod disc with a first-journal, the first-journal configured to receive at least two connecting rods at respective first-rod-ends in a side-by-side orientation and each connecting rod is coupled to a respective one of the intake disc and the exhaust disc via an intake-journal and an exhaust-journal, respectively. At least two secondary connecting rod discs are coupled to at least two plate-shaft drive gears to drive at least two plate-shaft-gears, the two plate-shaft-gears are connected to the two plate-shafts, respectively. At least two plate-shafts are coupled to an intake cam-groove plate and an exhaust cam-groove plate, the intake cam-groove plate and the exhaust cam-groove plate cammingly-manipulate the intake valve stem connector and the exhaust valve connector to drive each valve assembly.

A valve timing system for an internal combustion engine, the internal combustion engine including, an engine-crankcase, at least one combustion chamber, at least one cylinder head, and at least one intake valve, at least one exhaust valve, a camshaft, a crankshaft, and at least one piston, the system comprising:
a crankshaft drive gear; a crankshaft connecting rod gear; a primary connecting rod disc with a first-journal; at least two connecting rods including
an intake-connecting rod; and
an exhaust-connecting-rod;
at least two secondary connecting rod discs including
an intake disc and an exhaust disc including an intake-journal and an exhaust journal;
at least two plate-shaft drive gears; at least two plate-shaft-gears; at least two plate-shafts; at least two cam-groove plates including
an intake cam-groove plate and an exhaust cam-groove plate; and
at least two valve stem connectors including
an intake valve stem connector and an exhaust valve stem connector;
wherein the crankshaft drive gear is coupled to the crankshaft in working communication with the crankshaft connecting rod gear further including the primary connecting rod disc with said first-journal, said first-journal configured to receive said at least two connecting rods at respective first-rod-ends in a side-by-side orientation and each said connecting rod is coupled to a respective one of the intake disc and the exhaust disc via an intake-journal and an exhaust-journal, respectively, said at least two secondary connecting rod discs are coupled to said at least two plate-shaft drive gears to drive said at least two plate-shaft-gears, said at least two plate-shaft-gears are connected to the at least two plate-shafts, respectively, said at least two plate-shafts are coupled to said intake cam-groove plate and said exhaust cam-groove plate, said intake cam-groove plate and said exhaust cam-groove plate cammingly-manipulate said intake valve stem connector and said exhaust valve connector to drive said valve assembly, the valve timing system being structured and arranged to synchronize rotation and power transfer within said internal combustion engine and to regulate flow of air into and out of the combustion chamber of said internal combustion engine during use.
2 . The system of claim 1 , wherein said crankshaft drive gear is coupled to said crankshaft such that relative movement of said crankshaft drive gear is equal to that of said crankshaft.
3 . The system of claim 2 , wherein the crankshaft drive gear further comprising functional indicia marking to indicating the specific location of said piston coupled to said crankshaft within said combustion chamber.
4 . The system of claim 1 , wherein said crankshaft connecting rod gear and said at least two plate-shafts drive gears are each coupled to a respective bearing mounted in a bearing retainer;
wherein said crankshaft connecting rod gear coupled to said bearing mounted in a bearing retainer is coupled to said engine approximate to and in working communication with said crankshaft drive gear: and wherein said plate-shaft drive gears coupled to said bearing mounted in a bearing retainer are coupled to said at least one cylinder head approximate to and in working communication with said at least two plate-shaft-gears.
5 . The system of claim 4 , wherein said crankshaft, said crankshaft connecting rod gear and said at least two plate-shaft drive gears comprise an identical diameter to each other.

The system of claim 3 , wherein said crankshaft connecting rod gear further including the primary connecting rod disc with a first-journal, in working communication with said crankshaft drive gear includes said functional indicia marking to facilitate synchronization of said first-journal with said crankshaft.
7 . The system of claim 6 , wherein the said at least two connecting rods each include a first-aperture through each of said first-rod-ends further including a bushing frictionally inserted into said aperture having an internal-diameter configured to receive said first-journal.
8 . The system of claim 6 , wherein said at least two connecting rods include a second-aperture through each second-rod-end further include a bushing frictionally inserted into said aperture having an internal diameter configure to receive said intake-journal and an exhaust-journal, respectively.
9 . The system of claim 8 , wherein said at least two secondary connecting rod-discs include an intake disc and an exhaust disc include respectively an intake-journal and an exhaust journal are coupled to said at least two plate-shaft drive gears further including functional indicia markings to facilitate synchronization of said intake-journal and an exhaust journal with said crankshaft.
10 . The system of claim 4 , wherein at least two plate-shaft-gears comprise a gear ratio twice that of said plate-shaft drive gears.
11 . The system of claim 10 , wherein at least two plate-shaft-gears further include functional indicia markings to facilitate synchronization of said at least two plate-shaft-gears coupled to said at least two plate-shafts with said crankshaft.
12 . The system of claim 10 , wherein said at least two plate-shafts traverses through a bearing mounted in a bearing retainer.
13 . The system of claim 12 , wherein said at least two cam groove plates are integral to said plate-shafts proximate to intake valve and exhaust valve.
14 . The system of claim 13 , wherein said at least two cam groove plates including an intake cam-groove plate and an exhaust cam-groove plate, each have a radial channel-groove inwardly concentric of an outer edge.
15 . The system of claim 14 , wherein said radial channel-groove further comprises a lift-duration valve stem connector manipulator.
16 . The system of claim 15 , wherein said valve stem connector is configured to be received into said radial channel-groove.
17 . A valve timing system for an internal combustion engine, the system comprising:
a crankshaft drive gear, a crankshaft connecting rod gear, a primary connecting rod disc with a first-journal, at least two connecting rods including an intake-connecting rod and an exhaust-connecting-rod, at least two secondary connecting rod discs including an intake disc and an exhaust disc including an intake-journal and an exhaust journal, at least two plate-shaft drive gears, at least two plate-shaft-gears, at least two plate-shafts, at least two cam-groove plates including an intake cam-groove plate and an exhaust cam-groove plate and at least two valve stem connectors including an intake valve stem connector and an exhaust valve stem connector and a valve assembly; wherein the crankshaft drive gear is coupled to the crankshaft in working communication with the crankshaft connecting rod gear further including the primary connecting rod disc with said first-journal, said first-journal configured to receive said at least two connecting rods at respective first-rod-ends in a side-by-side orientation and each said connecting rod is coupled to a respective one of the intake disc and the exhaust disc via an intake-journal and an exhaust-journal, respectively, said at least two secondary connecting rod discs are coupled to said at least two plate-shaft drive gears to drive said at least two plate-shaft-gears, said at least two plate-shaft-gears are connected to the at least two plate-shafts, respectively, said at least two plate-shafts are coupled to said intake cam-groove plate and said exhaust cam-groove plate, said intake cam-groove plate and said exhaust cam-groove plate cammingly-manipulate said intake valve stem connector and said exhaust valve connector to drive said valve assembly, the valve timing system being structured and arranged to synchronize rotation and power transfer within said internal combustion engine and to regulate flow of air into and out of the combustion chamber of said internal combustion engine during use; wherein the crankshaft drive gear is coupled to said crankshaft such that relative movement of said crankshaft drive gear is equal to that of said crankshaft; wherein the crankshaft drive gear further comprises functional indicia marking to indicating the specific location of said piston coupled to said crankshaft within said combustion chamber; wherein said crankshaft connecting rod gear and said at least two plate-shafts drive gears are each coupled to a respective bearing mounted in a bearing retainer; wherein said connecting rod gear coupled to said bearing mounted in a bearing retainer is coupled to said engine approximate to and in working communication with said crankshaft drive gear: and wherein said plate-shaft drive gears coupled to said bearing mounted in a bearing retainer are coupled to said at least one cylinder head approximate to and in working communication with said at least two plate-shaft-gears; wherein said crankshaft connecting rod gear further including the primary connecting rod disc with a first-journal, in working communication with said crankshaft drive gear includes said functional indicia marking to facilitate synchronization of said first-journal with said crankshaft; and wherein the valve stem connector is configured to be received into said radial channel-groove.
18 . The system of claim 17 , further comprising set of instructions; and
wherein the system is arranged as a kit.
19 . A method of use for a valve timing system for an internal combustion engine, the method comprising the steps of:
providing a valve timing system for an internal combustion engine, the system comprising: a crankshaft drive gear, a crankshaft connecting rod gear, a primary connecting rod disc with a first-journal, at least two connecting rods including an intake-connecting rod and an exhaust-connecting-rod, at least two secondary connecting rod discs including an intake disc and an exhaust disc including an intake-journal and an exhaust journal, at least two plate-shaft drive gears, at least two plate-shaft-gears, at least two plate-shafts, at least two cam-groove plates including an intake cam-groove plate and an exhaust cam-groove plate and at least two valve stem connectors including an intake valve stem connector and an exhaust valve stem connector and a valve assembly; wherein the crankshaft drive gear is coupled to the crankshaft in working communication with the crankshaft connecting rod gear further including the primary connecting rod disc with said first-journal, said first-journal configured to receive said at least two connecting rods at respective first-rod-ends in a side-by-side orientation and each said connecting rod is coupled to a respective one of the intake disc and the exhaust disc via an intake-journal and an exhaust-journal, respectively, said at least two secondary connecting rod discs are coupled to said at least two plate-shaft drive gears to drive said at least two plate-shaft-gears, said at least two plate-shaft-gears are connected to the at least two plate-shafts, respectively, said at least two plate-shafts are coupled to said intake cam-groove plate and said exhaust cam-groove plate, said intake cam-groove plate and said exhaust cam-groove plate cammingly-manipulate said intake valve stem connector and said exhaust valve connector to drive said valve assembly, the valve timing system being structured and arranged to synchronize rotation and power transfer within said internal combustion engine and to regulate flow of air into and out of the combustion chamber of said internal combustion engine during use; installing said components on said internal combustion engine; and aligning said functional indicia marking.
