Abstract
A storable molded body is made of treated bacterial cellulose. The treated bacterial cellulose is dry and has a swelling capacity that is greater than untreated bacterial cellulose of the same type. The swelling capacity of the treated bacterial cellulose can be between about 103% and 154% greater than the non-treated bacterial cellulose. The bacterial cellulose can be from Gluconacetobacter xylinus. An implant includes or consists of the molded body of treated bacterial cellulose.

exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A storable molded body made of treated bacterial cellulose, wherein the treated bacterial cellulose is dry and has a swelling capacity that is greater than untreated bacterial cellulose of the same type.
2 . The storable molded body according to claim 1 , wherein the swelling capacity of the treated bacterial cellulose is between about 103% and 154% greater than the non-treated bacterial cellulose.
3 . The storable molded body according to claim 1 , wherein the bacterial cellulose is from Gluconacetobacter xylinus.
4 . The storable molded body according to claim 1 , comprising a layer having a thickness in the range of 2 to 10 mm
5 . An implant comprising, entirely or in parts, the molded body according to claim 1 .
6 . The implant according to claim 5 , wherein the molded body is an implant shell.
7 . The implant according to claim 6 , wherein the implant is a cardiac pacemaker or a defibrillator which is stored in the implant shell.
8 . The implant according to claim 7 , wherein the implant shell is a separate pocket for accommodating electrode cables.
9 . The implant according to claim 5 , wherein the molded body is a heart valve leaflet and/or a sealing shell between heart valve leaflets of a heart valve prosthesis.
10 . The implant according to claim 9 , wherein an outer side of a stent base body of the heart valve prosthesis comprises barbs.
11 . The implant according to claim 5 , wherein the molded body is an outer shell and/or inner shell of a stent graft made of the implant material.
12 . The implant according to claim 11 , wherein the inner or outer shell comprises annular sections, which are disposed on the axial ends of the stent graft and exhibit a greater swelling capacity than do sections of the shells located between the two ends.
13 . The implant according to claim 5 , wherein the molded body is a coating of a stent.
14 . The implant according to claim 5 , wherein the molded body is a vascular path, an occluder, or an artificial tendon.
15 . The implant according to claim 5 , wherein the molded body is a skirt for a heart valve stent, and the skirt has a thickness of 0.05 to 0.2 mm and a swelling ratio of at least 1:10.
16 . The implant according to claim 15 , wherein the skirt comprises materials other than the bacterial cellulose.
17 . The implant according to claim 15 , wherein the skirt consists of the bacterial cellulose.
18 . The implant according to claim 5 , comprising a skirt for a heart valve stent, the skirt being disposed on the luminal side of a stent base body, and comprising at least one molded body of the bacterial cellulose sewn in between struts of the stent and the skirt.
19 . The implant according to claim 18 , comprising a plurality of the molded bodies of the bacterial cellulose formed as an annular ring around the stent base body.
