Slotted Upright Attachment Adaptor Kit

Abstract

The slotted upright attachment adaptor kit of the present disclosure and related inventions is used to create retail space where it did not previously exist. It allows for temporary promotional or seasonal displays to be attached to an existing fixture without the use of tools. The kit includes a slide bar, four attachment pins or fasteners and one or more s-hooks.

1 . A retail display attachment adaptor kit comprising:
 a flat, planar, bar having two or more pre-drilled holes thereon;   two or more attachment pins;   two or more hanger hooks;   wherein the bar is operative to be inserted into one slot of a slotted upright and the two or more attachment pins are operative to fit into the two or more pre-drilled holes on the bar to secure the bar to the slotted upright, and wherein the two or more hanger hooks are operative to be inserted over the bar and to support product display fixtures or merchandise or packaging suspended therefrom.   
     
     
         2 . The retail display attachment adaptor kit of  claim 1 , wherein the bar is operative to extend through the slotted upright such that a portion of the bar is located on the left of the slotted upright and a portion of the bar is located on the right of the slotted upright. 
     
     
         3 . The retail display attachment adaptor kit of  claim 1 , wherein product display fixtures or merchandise or packaging can be suspended from the bar on both sides of the slotted upright. 
     
     
         4 . The retail display attachment adaptor kit of  claim 1 , wherein the flat, planar bar contains a lip. 
     
     
         5 . The retail display attachment adaptor kit of  claim 1 , wherein the hanger hooks are s-shaped hanger hooks. 
     
     
         6 . The retail display attachment adaptor kit of  claim 5 , wherein the s-shaped hanger hooks contain one upward facing channel and one downward facing channel. 
     
     
         7 . The retail display attachment adaptor kit of  claim 1 , wherein the kit can be attached to a slotted upright without the use of tools. 
     
     
         8 . A retail display attachment adaptor kit comprising:
 a slider bar having at least two apertures thereon;   two or more attachment elements operative to attach to the at least two apertures on the slider bar;   wherein the slider bar is operative to be inserted through one slot of a slotted upright and attached thereto by inserting at least one of the two or more attachment elements into the at least two apertures on the slider bar to the left of the slot and inserting at least one of the two or more attachment elements into one of the at least two apertures on the slider bar to the right of the slot, and   one or more s-shaped hooks operative to attach to the slider bar and also to suspend and retain a product display fixture or merchandise directly therefrom.   
     
     
         9 . The retail display attachment adaptor kit of  claim 8 , wherein the slider bar is substantially flat and planar. 
     
     
         10 . The retail display attachment adaptor kit of  claim 8 , wherein the slider bar has a lip creating a slight l-shaped slider bar. 
     
     
         11 . The retail display attachment adaptor kit of  claim 8 , wherein the two or more attachment elements contain two parts, a first part which gets inserted into a first side of one of the at least two apertures on the slider bar and a second part which is inserted over the first part on a second side of one of the at least two apertures on the slider bar. 
     
     
         12 . The retail display attachment adaptor kit of  claim 8 , wherein the two or more attachment elements are one-piece canoe clips. 
     
     
         13 . The retail display attachment adaptor kit of  claim 8 , wherein the two or more attachment elements are attachment pins. 
     
     
         14 . The retail display attachment adaptor kit of  claim 8 , wherein the kit can be attached to a slotted upright without the use of tools. 
     
     
         15 . The retail display attachment adaptor kit of  claim 8 , wherein the one or more s-shaped hooks are operative to be removably attached to the slider bar. 
     
     
         16 . A retail display attachment adaptor kit comprising:
 a substantially planar slider bar;   two or more attachment hardware operative to be inserted into two or more pre-drilled holes on the slider bar;   one or more s-shaped hooks removably attached to the slider bar;   wherein the slider bar is inserted through an opening in a retail fixture and secured thereto with the two or more attachment hardware; and   wherein the one or more s-shaped hooks are operative to suspend a display fixture or merchandise therefrom.   
     
     
         17 . The retail display attachment adaptor kit of  claim 16 , wherein one of the two or more attachment hardware is attached to the slider bar to the left of the opening in the retail fixture and one of the two or more attachment hardware is attached to the slider bar to the right of the opening in the retail fixture. 
     
     
         18 . The retail display attachment adaptor kit of  claim 16 , wherein the kit can be assembled without the use of tools. 
     
     
         19 . The retail display attachment adaptor kit of  claim 16 , wherein each attachment hardware is one-piece. 
     
     
         20 . The retail display attachment adaptor kit of  claim 16 , wherein each attachment hardware have two pieces.
