Abstract
A cooling system including cooling unit having an electrical transformer, a control module, a water valve controlling water flow from a water source, a series of misting units, a delivery-unit, and a power supply. The delivery-unit is mounted proximal to condenser coils of an HVAC system. The delivery-unit delivers water to the series of misting units when activated. The misting units are configured to spray mist on the condenser coils of the HVAC system thereby lowering a temperature of outdoor air passing through the condenser coils and increasing efficiency of the HVAC system.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is new and desired to be protected by Letters Patent is set forth in the appended claims:
1 . A cooling system comprising:
a cooling unit including,
an electrical transformer,
a control module,
a water flow control valve valve,
a series of misting units,
a delivery-unit, and
a power supply,
wherein said delivery-unit is mounted proximal to condenser coils of an HVAC system, said series of misting units being mounted along a length of said delivery-unit; wherein said cooling unit is connected to a water source, said delivery-unit being configured to deliver water to said series of misting units when activated; and wherein said cooling unit including said electrical transformer, said control module, and said water valve are in communication and configured to activate said cooling system and deliver mist via said series of misting units to said condenser coils of said HVAC system.
2 . The cooling system of claim 1 , wherein said electrical transformer is a 240V electrical transformer.
3 . The cooling system of claim 2 , wherein said control module is a 12V control module.
4 . The cooling system of claim 3 , wherein said water valve is a 12V water solenoid valve.
5 . The cooling system of claim 1 , wherein said delivery-unit is mounted directly to an outer housing of said HVAC system.
6 . The cooling system of claim 5 , wherein said delivery-unit is mounted using fasteners.
7 . The cooling system of claim 1 , wherein activation of said cooling unit triggers when outdoor air temperature exceeds a value.
8 . The cooling system of claim 7 , wherein said value is preselected.
9 . The cooling system of claim 8 , wherein said cooling unit further comprises a temperature detection unit adapted to monitor and sense said outdoor air temperature.
10 . The cooling system of claim 1 , wherein said delivery-unit comprises flexible tubing.
11 . The cooling system of claim 10 , wherein said series of misting units are equidistantly spaced along said delivery-unit.
12 . The cooling system of claim 11 , wherein said at least one of said series of misting units are positioned on each side of said housing.
13 . The cooling system of claim 12 , wherein said delivery-unit and said series of misting units are mounted proximal to a top-end of said housing.
14 . The cooling system of claim 1 , wherein said series of misting units are directed toward a base of said housing and configured to direct said mist downwardly toward said condenser coils.
15 . The cooling system of claim 1 , wherein said HVAC system is adapted for outdoor use .
16 . The cooling system of claim 1 , wherein said cooling unit further comprises a calcium water filter.
17 . The cooling system of claim 16 , wherein said calcium water filter is paired with said water valve and configured to dispense water to said series of misting units.
19 . The cooling system of claim 1 , wherein said control module is wall-mountable.
20 . A cooling system, the cooling system comprising:
a cooling unit including,
an electrical transformer,
a control module,
a water valve controlling water flow from a water source,
a series of misting units,
a delivery-unit, and
a power supply,
wherein said delivery-unit is mounted proximal to condenser coils of an HVAC system, said series of misting units being mounted along a length of said delivery-unit; wherein said cooling unit is connected to a water source, said delivery-unit being configured to deliver water to said series of misting units when activated; wherein said cooling unit including said electrical transformer, said control module, said water valve are in communication and configured to activate said cooling system and deliver mist via said series of misting units, said misting units are configured to spray mist on said condenser coils of said HVAC system; wherein said electrical transformer is a 240V electrical transformer; wherein said control module is a 12V control module; wherein said water valve is a 12V water solenoid valve; wherein said delivery-unit having said series of misting units is mounted directly to an outer housing of said HVAC system via fasteners; wherein activation of said cooling unit triggers when an outdoor air temperature exceeds a preselected value; wherein said cooling unit further comprises a temperature detection unit adapted to monitor and sense said outdoor air temperature; wherein said delivery-unit comprises flexible tubing; wherein said series of misting units are equidistantly spaced along said delivery-unit; wherein at least one of said series of misting units is positioned on each side of said housing; wherein said delivery-unit and said series of misting units are mounted proximal to a top-end of said housing; wherein said series of misting units are directed toward a base of said housing and configured to direct said mist downwardly toward said condenser coils; wherein said HVAC system is adapted for outdoor use; wherein said cooling unit further comprises a calcium water filter; wherein said calcium water filter is paired with said water valve and configured to dispense water to said series of misting units; and wherein said control module is wall-mountable.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
