Method and system for matching job seekers with job providers
Abstract
Disclosed is a method of matching job seekers with job providers. The method may include receiving a plurality of job seeker values and a plurality of job provider values corresponding to at least one attribute. The method may further include receiving a job seeker priority associated with a job seeker value. Furthermore, the method may include receiving a job provider priority associated with a job provider value. Subsequently, matching between job seekers and job providers may be performed based on comparison between job seeker values and job provider values. Additionally, the matching may be based on a comparison of job provider priority and job seeker priority.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A method, comprising:
receiving, at a computing device, a profile matching parameter that includes a job seeker value for a job seeker and a job provider value for a job provider; employing, by the computing device, a trained machine learning algorithm to automatically predict a likelihood of a match between the job seeker and the job provider based on the profile matching parameter; automatically adjusting, by the computing device, the profile matching parameter in response to a change in a requirement of the job seeker or the job provider; determining, by the computing device, a job seeker score for the job seeker based on a comparison of the job seeker value with the job provider value; and presenting, by the computing device, the job seeker score to the job provider.
2 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:
receiving, at the computing device, a plurality of profile matching parameters that includes a plurality of corresponding job seeker values for the job seeker and a plurality of corresponding job provider values for the job provider; and determining, by the computing device, the job seeker score for the job seeker based on a comparison of the plurality of job seeker values to the plurality of job provider values.
3 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:
receiving, at the computing device, a job seeker priority associated with the job seeker value; detecting, by the computing device, a conflict based on the job seeker value and the job seeker priority; and presenting, by the computing device, a conflict alert to the job seeker identifying the conflict.
4 . The method of claim 3 , further comprising:
receiving, at the computing device, a modification to the job seeker priority or the job seeker value to eliminate the conflict.
5 . The method of claim 3 , wherein determining the job seeker score for the job seeker further comprises:
determining, at the computing device, the job seeker score based on a priority-distance between the job seeker priority and a job provider priority.
6 . The method of claim 1 , wherein determining the job seeker score for the job seeker further comprises:
determining, at the computing device, the job seeker score based on a value-distance between the job seeker value and the job provider value.
7 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:
presenting, by the computing device, a plurality of job seeker scores to the job provider.
8 . A computing device, comprising:
a memory that stores computer instructions; at least one processor that executes the computer instructions to:
receive a profile matching parameter that includes a job seeker value for a job seeker and a job provider value for a job provider;
employ a trained machine learning algorithm to automatically predict a likelihood of a match between the job seeker and the job provider based on the profile matching parameter;
automatically adjust the profile matching parameter in response to a change in a requirement of the job seeker or the job provider;
determine a job seeker score for the job seeker based on a comparison of the job seeker value with the job provider value; and
present the job seeker score to the job provider.
9 . The computing device of claim 8 , wherein the at least one processor further executes the computer instructions to:
receive a plurality of profile matching parameters that includes a plurality of corresponding job seeker values for the job seeker and a plurality of corresponding job provider values for the job provider; and determine the job seeker score for the job seeker based on a comparison of the plurality of job seeker values to the plurality of job provider values.
10 . The computing device of claim 8 , wherein the at least one processor further executes the computer instructions to:
receive a job seeker priority associated with the job seeker value; detect a conflict based on the job seeker value and the job seeker priority; and present a conflict alert to the job seeker identifying the conflict.
11 . The computing device of claim 10 , wherein the at least one processor further executes the computer instructions to:
receive a modification to the job seeker priority or the job seeker value to eliminate the conflict.
12 . The computing device of claim 10 , wherein the at least one processor determines the job seeker score for the job seeker by further executing the computer instructions to:
determine the job seeker score based on a priority-distance between the job seeker priority and a job provider priority.
13 . The computing device of claim 8 , wherein the at least one processor determines the job seeker score for the job seeker by further executing the computer instructions to:
determine the job seeker score based on a value-distance between the job seeker value and the job provider value.
14 . The computing device of claim 8 , wherein the at least one processor further executes the computer instructions to:
present a plurality of job seeker scores to the job provider.
15 . A non-transitory computer-readable medium having stored instructions that, when executed by one or more computing systems, cause the one or more computing systems to:
receive a profile matching parameter that includes a job seeker value for a job seeker and a job provider value for a job provider; employ a trained machine learning algorithm to automatically predict a likelihood of a match between the job seeker and the job provider based on the profile matching parameter; automatically adjust the profile matching parameter in response to a change in a requirement of the job seeker or the job provider; determine a job seeker score for the job seeker based on a comparison of the job seeker value with the job provider value; and present the job seeker score to the job provider.
16 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 15 , wherein the stored instructions further cause the one or more computing systems to:
receive a plurality of profile matching parameters that includes a plurality of corresponding job seeker values for the job seeker and a plurality of corresponding job provider values for the job provider; and determine the job seeker score for the job seeker based on a comparison of the plurality of job seeker values to the plurality of job provider values.
17 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 15 , wherein the stored instructions further cause the one or more computing systems to:
receive a job seeker priority associated with the job seeker value; detect a conflict based on the job seeker value and the job seeker priority; and present a conflict alert to the job seeker identifying the conflict.
18 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 17 , wherein the stored instructions further cause the one or more computing systems to:
receive a modification to the job seeker priority or the job seeker value to eliminate the conflict.
19 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 17 , wherein the stored instructions further cause the one or more computing systems to:
determine the job seeker score based on a priority-distance between the job seeker priority and a job provider priority.
20 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 15 , wherein the stored instructions further cause the one or more computing systems to:
determine the job seeker score based on a value-distance between the job seeker value and the job provider value.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
