Abstract

Methods, apparatuses, systems, and computer-readable media for vehicle wireless device discovery are provided. A wireless device may receive a message related to vehicle-to-everything (V2X) multicast bearer coverage. After the V2X multicast bearer coverage is established between the wireless device and an internet protocol multimedia subsystem (IMS) network entity, one or more packets may be received via the V2X multicast bearer.

The method of claim 1 , further comprising receiving, by the wireless device from the IMS network entity, a response message comprising a SIP header field confirming registration of one or more target device types with which the wireless device supports V2X communications.

         9 . A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing instructions that, when executed, cause:
 sending, to an internet protocol multimedia subsystem (IMS) network entity, a first message comprising one or more indicators for vehicle-to-everything (V2X) multicast bearer coverage for a wireless device; receiving, from the IMS network entity, a second message comprising:
 one or more indicators for V2X multicast service capabilities based on the V2X multicast bearer coverage for the wireless device, and
 one or more configuration parameters for reception by the wireless device from the IMS network entity via a V2X multicast bearer;
   sending, to the IMS network entity, a third message confirming establishment of the V2X multicast bearer coverage; and receiving, via the V2X multicast bearer, at least one packet.

         10 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 9 , wherein the second message further comprises one or more configuration parameters for receiving via a V2X broadcast bearer.

         11 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 9 , wherein the first message further comprises a SIP header field indicating one or more target device types with which a wireless device supports V2X communications.

         12 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 11 , wherein the one or more target device types are associated with capability to communicate via at least one of:
 vehicle to pedestrian communications; vehicle to infrastructure communications; vehicle to vehicle communications; or vehicle to network communications.

         13 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 9 , wherein the one or more indicators for V2X multicast service capabilities comprise at least one of:
 an IMS communication service identifier (ICSI); or an IMS application reference identifier (IARI).

         14 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 9 , wherein the first message comprises at least one of:
