Abstract

Technologies are described for devices and methods to contain water within a bath tub. The device may comprise a first portion of a shower curtain. The device may comprise a second portion of the shower curtain. The device may comprise connectors. The connectors may connect the first portion of the shower curtain and the second portion of the shower curtain. The connectors may be configured to hang over and be supported by a shower rod so that the first portion of the shower curtain may be in contact with a first side of a wall of the bathtub and the second portion of the shower curtain may be in contact with a second side of the wall of the bathtub. The second portion of the shower curtain, in contact with the wall of the bath tub, may contain water from a shower head within the bath tub.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A device to contain water within a bath tub, the device comprising:
 a first portion of a shower curtain;   a second portion of the shower curtain; and   connectors, wherein the connectors connect the first portion of the shower curtain and the second portion of the shower curtain, the connectors are configured to hang over and be supported by a shower rod so that the first portion of the shower curtain may be in contact with a first side of a wall of the bathtub and the second portion of the shower curtain may be in contact with a second side of the wall of the bathtub, and the second portion of the shower curtain, in contact with the wall of the bath tub, contains water from a shower head within the bath tub.   
     
     
         2 . The device of  claim 1 , wherein the first portion, the second portion, and the connectors are all the same material. 
     
     
         3 . The device of  claim 2 , wherein the material is waterproof. 
     
     
         4 . The device of  claim 3 , wherein the material is plastic. 
     
     
         5 . The device of  claim 2 , wherein the material of the shower curtain defines holes in the shower curtain and the material of the shower curtain around the holes form the connectors. 
     
     
         6 . The device of  claim 5 , wherein the holes are square, rectangular, oval, or circular. 
     
     
         7 . The device of  claim 1 , wherein the first portion is a first material, the second portion is a second material, and the connectors are a third material. 
     
     
         8 . The device of  claim 1 , further comprising magnets at base of the first portion and at a base of the second portion. 
     
     
         9 . The device of  claim 1 , wherein the connectors are permanently attached to the first portion and the second portion. 
     
     
         10 . The device of  claim 1 , wherein the connectors are removable and reattachable to the first portion and the second portion. 
     
     
         11 . The device of  claim 10 , wherein the first portion, the second portion, and/or the connectors include fasteners. 
     
     
         12 . A system to contain water within a bath tub, the system comprising:
 the bathtub;   a shower head;   a shower rod, and   a shower curtain, wherein the shower curtain comprises:   a first portion;   a second portion; and   connectors, wherein the connectors connect the first portion of the shower curtain and the second portion of the shower curtain, the connectors are configured to hang over and be supported by the shower rod so that the first portion of the shower curtain may be in contact with a first side of a wall of the bathtub and a second portion of the shower curtain may be in contact with a second side of the wall of the bathtub, and the second portion of the shower curtain, in contact with the wall of the bath tub, contains water from the shower head within the bath tub.   
     
     
         13 . The system of  claim 12 , wherein the first portion, the second portion, and the connectors are all the same material. 
     
     
         14 . The system of  claim 13 , wherein the material of the shower curtain defines holes in the shower curtain and the material of the shower curtain around the holes form the connectors. 
     
     
         15 . The system of  claim 12 , wherein the connectors are removable and reattachable to the first portion and the second portion. 
     
     
         16 . A method to contain water within a bath tub, the method comprising:
 pulling a shower curtain over a shower rod;   aligning the shower curtain so that connectors of the shower curtain are in contact with the shower rod, wherein the connectors connect a first portion of the shower curtain and a second portion of the shower curtain;   contacting the first portion of the shower curtain with a first side of a wall of the bathtub; and   contacting the second portion of the shower curtain with a second side of the wall of the bathtub to contain water from a shower head within the bathtub.   
     
     
         17 . The method of  claim 16 , wherein the first portion, the second portion, and the connectors are all the same material. 
     
     
         18 . The method of  claim 17 , wherein the material of the shower curtain defines holes in the shower curtain and the material of the shower curtain around the holes form the connectors. 
     
     
         19 . The method of  claim 16 , wherein the connectors are removable and reattachable to the first portion and the second portion. 
     
     
         20 . The method of  claim 19 , wherein the first portion, the second portion, and/or the connectors include fasteners.
