Vertically Stackable Dwelling Device
Abstract
Embodiments herein relate to a dwelling device (100) having a plurality of unilaterally open dwelling units (110, 110′, 110″) for temporary accommodation of one or more people. Each dwelling unit (110) comprises a uniform hexagonal honeycomb-shaped outer profile (120) with a base panel (111), a screen panel (112) arranged parallel to the base panel (111), as well as two upper and two lower side panels (113, 114, 113′, 114′) connecting the base panel (111) and screen panel (112) in the area of the opposing side edges (115, 115′). Each dwelling unit is made of a material whose stability is dimensioned to ensure both the stability of a dwelling unit (110) as a single piece of furniture as well as an adjacent vertical stacking of a plurality of dwelling units (110, 110′, 110″) without further aids in a safe manner. A robust design, which makes a vertical stacking on top of each other possible, is achieved by the hexagonal honeycomb-shaped wall of the dwelling unit (110) being integrally formed as a single piece and by the wall being made of a carton material.
