Abstract
An electronic display device includes: an insulating substrate having a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface, and further having a thickness and a width; a display medium layer disposed on the insulating substrate; a first hole penetrating through the insulating substrate and having a first area on the first surface and a second area on the second surface; and a second hole penetrating through the insulating substrate and having a third area on the first surface and a fourth area on the second surface, wherein a distance is between the first hole and the second hole, wherein values of the thickness t, the width WS, the first area A 1′ , the second area A 1 , the third area A 2′ , the fourth area A 2 , and the distance d are conformed to the following equation (I): N × log ( ( A 1 ′ + A 1 + A 2 ′ + A 2 ) / 2 ) t ≤ d < WS - N × log ( A 1 ′ + A 1 + A 2 ′ + A 2 ) t ( I ) wherein N is greater than 0 and less than 1E6.

an insulating substrate having a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface, wherein the insulating substrate has a thickness denoted by t and a width denoted by WS; a display medium layer disposed on the insulating substrate; a first hole penetrating through the insulating substrate, wherein the first hole has a first area on the first surface denoted by A 1 ′ and a second area on the second surface denoted by A 1 ; and a second hole penetrating through the insulating substrate, wherein the second hole has a third area on the first surface denoted by A 2 ′ and a fourth area on the second surface denoted by A 2 , and a distance between the first hole and the second hole is denoted by d, wherein values of the thickness t, the width WS, the first area A 1 ′, the second area A 1 , the third area A 2 ′, the fourth area A 2 , and the distance d are conformed to the following equation (I):

5 . The electronic display device of claim 4 , wherein a first minimum distance between the first edge and a first side wall of the first hole is donated by d′, and a second minimum distance between the second edge and a second sidewall of the second hole is donated by d″,

6 . The electronic display device of claim 1 , further comprising a counter substrate and a cover substrate, wherein the counter substrate is disposed between the insulating substrate and the cover substrate, and a touch unit is disposed between the counter substrate and the cover substrate.

The electronic display device of claim 1 , further comprising a counter substrate and a cover substrate disposed on the counter substrate, wherein the counter substrate is disposed between the insulating substrate and the cover substrate, and a polarizer film is disposed between the counter substrate and the cover substrate.
8 . The electronic display device of claim 1 , further comprising a first electronic unit and a second electronic unit, wherein the first electronic unit is disposed corresponding to the first hole, and the second electronic unit is disposed corresponding to the second hole.
9 . The electronic display device of claim 8 , wherein at least one of the first electronic unit and the second electronic unit is a camera or a photo sensor.
10 . The electronic display device of claim 8 , wherein at least one of the first electronic unit and the second electronic unit is a gate driver IC, a data driver IC or a timing controller IC (TCON).
11 . The electronic display device of claim 8 , further comprising a first circuit board and a second circuit board, wherein the first electronic unit is electrically connected to the first circuit board and the second electronic unit is electrically connected to the second circuit board.
12 . The electronic display device of claim 1 , wherein an optical element is disposed corresponding to the first hole.
13 . The electronic display device of claim 1 , further comprising a first electronic unit, wherein a part of the first electronic unit is disposed in the first hole.
14 . The electronic display device of claim 1 , further comprising a second electronic unit, wherein a part of the second electronic unit is disposed in the second hole.
15 . The electronic display device of claim 1 , wherein the display medium layer has a first signal passing tunnel corresponding to the first hole, and the first signal passing tunnel is formed by a dam unit formed in the display medium layer.
16 . The electronic display device of claim 15 , further comprising a first electronic unit, wherein the first hole is disposed between the first electronic unit and the first signal passing tunnel.
17 . The electronic display device of claim 1 , wherein the display medium layer has a second signal passing tunnel corresponding to the second hole, and the second signal passing tunnel is formed by a darn unit formed in the display medium layer.
18 . The electronic display device of claim 17 , further comprising a second electronic unit, wherein the second hole is disposed between the second electronic unit and the second signal passing tunnel.
19 . The electronic display device of claim 1 , further comprising a circuit layer disposed on the first surface, a first conductive element disposed in the first hole, and a first electronic unit disposed on the second surface, wherein the first electronic unit is electrically connected to the circuit layer via the first conducive element.
20 .
