Abstract
A device to attach to bedding to hold them in place and prevent them from slipping off the bed is disclosed. It eliminates the problem of having to lift a mattress to attach our device to keep the bedding from slipping or sliding off the bed. It attaches to the bedding and then attaches to the bed leg or frame which holds the bedding in place. Additionally, it uses a much stronger adjustable clip and a much stronger latex tubing with exceptional strength and flexibility.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed:
1 . An anti-slip bedding kit comprising:
at least one means for attaching to bedding; at least one means for attaching to at least one of a bed frame, bed rail or bed leg; and at least one flexible cord having a first end and a second end;
whereby the cord comprises
a means for attaching the cord to the means for attaching to bedding is disposed about a first end of the cord; and
a means for attaching the cord to the means for attaching to at least one of a bed frame, bed rail or bed leg is disposed about the second end of the cord.
2 . The kit of claim 1 wherein the means for attaching to bedding is an adjustable clip.
3 . The kit of claim 2 wherein the cord is made of latex.
4 . The kit of claim 1 wherein the means for attaching to at least one of at least one of a bed frame, bed rail or bed leg is a cable tie.
5 . The kit of claim 1 wherein the means for attaching the cord to the means for attaching to at least one of a bed frame, bed rail or bed leg comprises an aperture therethrough, the aperture being specifically adapted to accept the means for attaching to a bed frame, bed rail or bed leg therethrough.
6 . The kit of claim 1 wherein the means for attaching to at least one of a bed frame, bed rail or bed leg is adjustable in size.
7 . The kit of claim 1 wherein the means for attaching to at least one of a bed frame, bed rail or bed leg is adapted to adjust tension within the cord based upon user preference.
8 . The kit of claim 1 wherein the means for attaching the cord to the means for attaching to bedding disposed about a first end of the cord comprises a hook.
9 . The kit of claim 2 wherein the means for attaching the cord to the means for attaching to at least one of a bed frame, bed rail or bed leg disposed about the second end of the cord comprises a clip.
10 . An anti-slip bedding kit comprising:
a latex cord having a first end and a second end;
a hook disposed about the first end of the cord, and
a clip disposed about the second end of the cord,
an adjustable cable tie adapted to removably engage the clip disposed about the second end of the cord; and a clip adapted to attach the bedding, whereby the clip is adapted to removably attach to the hook disposed about the first end of the cord.
11 . An anti-slip bedding device comprising:
a means for attaching to bedding removably attached to a first end of a flexible cord, the cord having a first end and a second end; a means for attaching to at least one of a bed frame, bed rail or bed leg removably attached to a second end of the cord; and whereby the cord comprises:
a means for attaching the cord to the means for attaching to bedding, disposed about a first end of the cord; and
a means for attaching the cord to the means for attaching to at least one of a bed frame, bed rail or bed leg, disposed about the second end of the cord.
12 . The device of claim 11 wherein the means for attaching to bedding is a clip.
13 . The device of claim 12 wherein the clip is an adjustable clip.
14 . The device of claim 11 wherein the means for attaching to at least one of at least one of a bed frame, bed rail or bed leg is a cable tie.
15 . The device of claim 11 wherein the means for attaching the cord to the means for attaching to at least one of a bed frame, bed rail or bed leg comprises an aperture therethrough, the aperture being specifically adapted to accept the means for attaching to a bed frame, bed rail or bed leg therethrough.
16 . The device of claim 11 wherein the means for attaching to at least one of a bed frame, bed rail or bed leg is adapted to adjust tension within the cord based upon user preference.
17 . The device of claim 11 wherein the means for attaching the cord to the means for attaching to bedding disposed about a first end of the cord comprises a hook.
18 . The device of claim 11 wherein the means for attaching the cord to the means for attaching to at least one of a bed frame, bed rail or bed leg comprises a clip.
19 . An anti-slip bedding device comprising:
a latex cord having a first end and a second end;
a hook disposed about the first end of the cord, and
a snap comprising an aperture disposed about the second end of the cord,
an adjustable cable tie removably attached to the clip disposed about the second end of the cord; and a clip adapted to attach to bedding removably attached to the hook disposed about the first end of the cord.
20 . A method for restraining bedding comprising:
attaching a first end of the device of claim 1 to bedding and attaching a second end of the device of claim 11 to at least one of a bed frame, bed rail or bed leg.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
