performing by at least one server, at least:
receiving a product selection to add to a joint gift registry from a first registrant computing device;
receiving negotiation feedback related to the product selection from a second registrant computing device and the first registrant computing device;
analyzing the negotiation feedback from the first and second registrant computing devices; and
providing product recommendations to at least one of the first and second registrant computing devices based at least in part on the negotiation feedback analysis.
2 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein one or more of the at least one server, the first registrant computing device, and the second registrant device executes a unified gift registry application to enable the receiving the product selection.
3 . The method according to claim 2 , wherein a display of at least one of the first registrant computing device and the second registrant computing device displays the unified gift registry application.
4 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the product selection is acquired by a user input device of the first registrant computing device.
5 . The method according to claim 4 , wherein the user input device is a least one of a Near Field Communication (NEC) device and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) device configured to read a tag associated with a product.
6 . The method according to claim 4 , wherein the user input device is a camera configured to capture a representation of a product, and wherein at least one of the first registrant computing device and the at least one server is configured to process the captured representation of the product to determine an identity of the product.
7 . The method according to claim 6 , wherein the representation of the product is at least one of:
an image of the product, at least one of a barcode and a tag on the product, and an augmented reality code.
8 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the negotiation feedback comprises a selection indicating at least one of approval or disapproval.
9 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the negotiation feedback comprises an alternative product selection that is different than the product selection from the first registrant computing device.
10 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the analyzing the negotiation feedback comprises determining an influence of at least one of a first user of the first registrant computing device and a second user of the second registrant computing device.
11 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the analyzing the negotiation feedback comprises determining product preferences of at least one of a first user of the first registrant computing device and a second user of the second registrant computing device.
12 . The method according to claim 11 , wherein the product preferences comprise preferences for at least one of:
brands, models, price ranges, and finishes.
13 . The method according to claim 1 , comprising updating a profile associated with at least one of a first user of the first registrant computing device and a second user of the second registrant computing device based at least in part on the negotiation feedback analysis.
14 . The method according to claim 3 , wherein the product recommendations are provided on the display by at least one of:
a pop-up window of the unified gift registry application, a newsfeed of the unified gift registry application, and a message in an inbox of the unified gift registry application, the inbox associated with at least one of a first user of the first registrant computing device and a second user of the second registrant computing device.
15 . A method for negotiating and creating a joint gift registry, the method comprising:
performing by at least one server, at least:
receiving product selections from a plurality of mobile registrant computing devices in a retail establishment;
adding the product selections to a joint gift registry; and
providing the joint gift registry with the added product selections to each of the plurality of registrant computing devices, wherein the product selections are received, added and provided in substantially real-time.
16 . The method according to claim 15 , wherein one or more of the at least one server and the plurality of mobile registrant computing devices executes a unified gift registry application to enable the receiving the product selections.
17 . The method according to claim 16 , wherein a display of each of the plurality of mobile registrant computing device displays the unified gift registry application.
18 . The method according to claim 16 , wherein the unified gift registry application facilitates confirmation of the production selections prior to adding the product selections to the joint gift registry.
19 . The method according to claim 17 , wherein the joint gift registry is displayed at the display in a retail establishment map view.
20 . The method according to claim 17 , comprising receiving, by the at least one server, location information from each of the plurality of mobile registrant computing devices in the retail establishment.
21 . The method according to claim 20 , wherein the location information is acquired by each of the plurality of mobile registrant computing devices, the location information based on at least one of:
a Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tag, a Near Field Communication (NFC) tag, geo-location information, Wi-Fi triangulation information, and user selection information.
22 . The method according to claim 20 , wherein the location information comprises at least one of:
product locations corresponding with the product selections, at least one of a location and a path of at least one of the plurality of mobile registrant computing devices in the retail establishment, and
23 . The method according to claim 22 , wherein the at least one server shares the location information with each of the plurality of registrant computing devices, and wherein the unified gift registry application displays a retail establishment map view at the display, the retail establishment map view comprising the location information.
24 . The method according to claim 23 , wherein the unified gift registry application displays turn-by-turn instructions for navigating from the location of at least one of the plurality of mobile registrant computing devices in the retail establishment to a product location in the retail establishment map view at the display.
