Geo-based information provision,search and access method and software system
Abstract
Method and system consist of a mobile application installed on a mobile device with internet connection and a geographical positioning device; a remote hosting server configured with software and database; an onsite wireless communication hosting apparatus. The mobile application communicates with the remote hosting server and the onsite wireless communication apparatus. The remote hosting server and onsite wireless communication apparatus communicate and transfer data to one another, the remote hosting server communicates with third party databases via secured access and retrieves location related information requested by onsite users of the mobile device. Web users at anywhere may select a location displayed on a digital map over interface of a web application configured to the remote hosting server; access the same as onsite users; including data entered by location owners, received from third-party databases via secured connection, and uploaded from onsite wireless communication apparatus.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . An automated onsite information search and multimedia system for independent short range wireless broadcasting comprising:
an onsite wireless communication apparatus capable of short range wireless broadcasting, comprising:
a first short range wireless transceiver operative to generate a wireless signal to be received by a mobile device, the mobile device including a mobile application for at least authorization transactions;
a first memory;
an input device for receiving input from a user of the onsite wireless communication apparatus; and
a processor storing computer executable software in the first memory, wherein execution of the software generates a graphical user interface that prompts the user of the onsite wireless communication apparatus to specify media content to be uploaded to the memory,
wherein the onsite wireless communication apparatus directly transmits an authorization code to a mobile application on a mobile device including a second short range wireless transceiver and a second memory storing a plurality of known access codes via the short range wireless transceivers, and in response to receiving an indication of authorization from the mobile application through the mobile device via the wireless connection in response to comparing the authorization code to a set of known access codes stored in a memory of the mobile device, the onsite wireless communication apparatus directly communicates with the mobile application via the first and second short range wireless transceivers without requiring a connection to the internet or other networks.
2 . The automated onsite information search and multimedia system of claim 1 , wherein the onsite wireless communication apparatus comprises a computing device configured with functions of onsite wireless communication apparatus.
3 . The automated onsite information search and multimedia system of claim 1 , wherein the onsite wireless communication apparatus is assigned with an identification code and authorization code.
4 . The automated onsite information search and multimedia system of claim 1 , further comprising:
a remote server including a second memory comprising location data; and a processor configured to allow users of the system to search a location data via the onsite wireless communication apparatus or the remote server.
5 . The automated onsite information search and multimedia system of claim 4 , wherein the onsite wireless communication apparatus and a software of the system is further configured for location owners or sub-location owners within the physical parameters of a location to create and publish sub-location data within a location and allow users of the system to access said data.
6 . The automated onsite information search and multimedia system of claim 4 , wherein the system processor is further configured to track geo-location of a user of the system and display the geo-location of the user on a digital map associated with a website of the system or the mobile application.
7 . The automated onsite information search and multimedia system of claim 4 , wherein the system processor is further configured to track geo-location of a user of the system and automatically forward data of the geo-location to the user on a website of the system or the mobile application.
8 . The automated onsite information search and multimedia system of claim 4 , wherein the system processor is further configured to provide ecommerce and services for location based business and entity.
9 . The automated onsite information search and multimedia system of claim 4 , wherein the system processor is further configured to providing functions for users of the system to communicate with locations via the mobile application or a website associated with the system.
10 . The automated onsite information search and multimedia system of claim 4 , wherein the system processor is further configured for optionally forwarding identification or authentication code received by the onsite mobile device to the remote server for verification.
11 . A mobile device operative to communicate with short-range wireless broadcasting comprising:
a first short range wireless transceiver operatively generating a wireless signal to be received by user devices; a memory storing a plurality of known access codes; a mobile application operative to run on the mobile device and operative to communicate with an onsite wireless communication apparatus comprising a second short range wireless transceiver when the first short range transceiver of the mobile device is within a coverage area of the second short range wireless transceiver; and in response to receiving an authorization code directly from the onsite wireless communication apparatus directly transmits an authorization code to the mobile application via the second short range wireless transceiver, determining whether to authorize the onsite wireless communication apparatus in response to comparing the authorization code to the set of known access codes stored in a memory of the mobile device; and in response to a successful comparison, transmitting and indication of authorization to the onsite wireless communication apparatus such that the mobile device directly communicates with the onsite wireless communication apparatus via the first and second short range wireless transceivers without requiring a connection to the internet or other networks.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
