Abstract
There are provided methods and systems to retrieve search result information and digital content. The system receives input information identifying a plurality of data sources from which to retrieve digital content. Next the system retrieves search result information, over the network, from the plurality of data sources based on the input information. Next the system retrieves the digital content, over the network, from at least one of the data sources based on the search result information. Finally, the system communicates digital content to a client machine.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A method comprising:
identifying, at a server machine, item information corresponding to search results based on a subscription of a user, the item information pertaining to an item; providing, by the server machine, the item information to the user; and automatically triggering payment and retrieval, by the server machine, of the item in accordance with a subscription of the user.
2 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising collecting, at a server machine, input information from a client machine.
3 . The method of claim 2 , further comprising utilizing the input information to generate metadata information, the metadata information comprising global filter information, search result retrieval metadata, target metadata, or digital content retrieval metadata.
4 . The method of claim 3 , further comprising utilizing the search result retrieval metadata to retrieve the item information.
5 . The method of claim 3 , further comprising utilizing the global filter information to filter retrieval of the item information.
6 . The method of claim 3 , further comprising utilizing the global filter information to filter retrieval of the item information comprises identifying item information that requires a purchases for an amount that exceeds a predetermined purchasing limitation or a predetermined storage limitation.
7 . The method of claim 3 , further comprising utilizing the target metadata to identify subscriptions of the user.
8 . The method of claim 3 , further comprising utilizing the digital content retrieval metadata to generate remote commands that are communicated in association with the item to the client machine.
9 . The method of claim 3 , further comprising utilizing the digital content retrieval metadata to determine whether retrieval of the item exceeds a predetermined purchase limitation or a predetermined storage limitation.
10 . The method of claim 2 , further comprising periodically searching, at the server machine, based on the input information, to create the search results.
11 . The method of claim 1 , wherein automatically triggering payment comprises automatically aggregating multiple payments to financially independent data sources and a single charge to a financial instruction into a single transaction.
12 . The method of claim 1 , wherein providing the item information to the user includes providing an alert to the user in response to the item being available.
13 . The method of claim 1 , wherein providing the item information to the user includes sending a message to the client machine of the user.
14 . A machine-readable medium that is not a transitory propagating signal, the machine-readable medium including instructions that, when executed by a machine, cause the machine to perform operations comprising:
identifying, at a server machine, item information corresponding to search results based on a subscription of a user, the item information pertaining to an item; providing, by the server machine, the item information to the user; and automatically triggering payment and retrieval, by the server machine, of the item in accordance with a subscription of the user.
15 . The machine-readable medium of claim 14 , further comprising collecting, at a server machine, input information from a client machine.
16 . The machine-readable medium of claim 15 , further comprising utilizing the input information to generate metadata information, the metadata information comprising global filter information, search result retrieval metadata, target metadata, or digital content retrieval metadata.
17 . The machine-readable medium of claim 16 , further comprising one of:
utilizing the search result retrieval metadata to retrieve the item information; utilizing the global filter information to filter retrieval of the item information; utilizing the global filter information to filter retrieval of the item information comprises identifying item information that requires a purchases for an amount that exceeds a predetermined purchasing limitation or a predetermined storage limitation; utilizing the target metadata to identify subscriptions of the user; and utilizing the digital content retrieval metadata to generate remote commands that are communicated in association with the item to the client machine.
18 . The machine-readable medium of claim 14 , wherein automatically triggering payment comprises automatically aggregating multiple payments to financially independent data sources and a single charge to a financial instruction into a single transaction.
19 . The machine-readable medium of claim 15 , further comprising periodically searching, at the server machine, based on the input information, to create the search results.
20 . A system comprising:
a data source including item information; and a server machine communicatively coupled to the data source, the server machine to:
identify, at a server machine, the item information corresponding to search results based on a subscription of a user, the item information pertaining to an item;
provide, by the server machine, the item information to the user; and
automatically trigger payment and retrieval, by the server machine, of the item in accordance with a subscription of the user.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
