Abstract
An electronic cigarette includes a battery assembly and an atomizer assembly within a housing with the battery assembly electrically connected to the atomizer assembly. The housing has one or more air inlets. A liquid storage component is in contact with a porous component of the atomizer assembly, with the porous component having a run-through hole. A heating wire is in an air flow path through the run-through hole.

a cylindrical housing having a central longitudinal axis; an atomizer in the cylindrical housing, the atomizer having a chamber formed by an elongated hollow porous component having first and second open ends; the chamber co-axial with the central longitudinal axis of the cylindrical housing; a heating coil inside the chamber, the heating coil wound around an axis parallel to and co-axial with the central longitudinal axis of the cylindrical housing; the cylindrical housing having at least one inlet and an outlet; an air flow path from the inlet to the outlet; and the atomizer between the inlet and the outlet to allow air to pass through the elongated hollow porous component from the first open end to the second open end and along the heating coil.
2 . The vaporizing device of claim 1 wherein the chamber is cylindrical.
3 . The vaporizing device of claim 2 wherein the diameter of the first open end is equal to the diameter of the second open end, and the diameter of the chamber is equal to the diameter of the first and second open ends.
4 . The vaporizing device of claim 1 wherein the elongated hollow porous component comprises a fiber material or a ceramic material.
5 . The vaporizing device of claim 4 wherein the heating coil has a diameter less than the diameter of the chamber.
6 . The vaporizing device of claim 1 further including an LED operating indicator in the housing.
7 . The vaporizing device of claim 1 further including a rechargeable battery in the housing, the battery electrically connectable to the heating coil.
8 . The vaporizing device of claim 7 wherein the battery has a charging slot or a charging plug.
9 . The vaporizing device of claim 1 further comprising a battery assembly in the housing, the battery assembly including a battery and an airflow sensor electrically connected to an electronic circuit board.
10 . The vaporizing device of claim 1 further comprising a liquid storage component in the housing.
11 . The vaporizing device of claim 10 wherein the liquid storage component contains a liquid and is positioned to provide the liquid to the elongated hollow porous component.
12 . The vaporizing device of claim 10 wherein the liquid storage component comprises a detachable bottle assembly.
13 . The vaporizing device of claim 10 further comprising a restriction component at one end of the elongated hollow porous component, the restriction component having a restriction hole having a diameter less than the diameter of the chamber.
14 . The vaporizing device of claim 13 wherein the restriction component is detachable.
15 . The vaporizing device of claim 11 further comprising a disc-shaped plate at the first open end of the elongated hollow porous component, the disc-shaped plate supporting the heating coil.
16 . The vaporizing device of claim 15 with the disc-shaped plate supporting the elongated hollow porous component on the central longitudinal axis.
17 . A vaporizing device comprising:
a cylindrical housing having a central longitudinal axis; an atomizer in the cylindrical housing, the atomizer having a cylindrical chamber formed by an elongated hollow porous component having first and second open ends, the first and second open ends having the same diameter, and the chamber having a diameter equal to the diameter of the first and second open ends; the chamber co-axial with the central longitudinal axis of the cylindrical housing; a heating coil inside the chamber, the heating coil wound around an axis parallel to and co-axial with the central longitudinal axis of the cylindrical housing, the heating coil having a diameter less than the diameter of the chamber; the cylindrical housing having at least one inlet and an outlet; an air flow path from the inlet to the outlet; and the atomizer between the inlet and the outlet to allow air to pass through the elongated hollow porous component from the first open end to the second open end and along the heating coil.
18 . The vaporizing device of claim 18 further comprising a battery assembly in the cylindrical housing, the battery assembly including a battery and an airflow sensor electrically connected to an electronic circuit board.
19 . A vaporizing device comprising:
a cylindrical housing having a central longitudinal axis; an atomizer in the cylindrical housing, the atomizer having a cylindrical chamber formed by an elongated hollow porous component having first and second open ends, the first and second open ends having the same diameter, and the chamber having a diameter equal to the diameter of the first and second open ends; the chamber co-axial with the central longitudinal axis of the cylindrical housing; a heating coil inside the chamber, the heating coil wound around an axis parallel to and co-axial with the central longitudinal axis of the cylindrical housing, the heating coil having a diameter less than the diameter of the chamber; the cylindrical housing having at least one inlet and an outlet; an air flow path from the inlet to the outlet; and the atomizer between the inlet and the outlet to allow air to pass through the elongated hollow porous component from the first open end to the second open end and along the heating coil.
