Treatments of Metabolic Disorders Using FGF Binding Protein 3

Abstract

The invention relates to methods of treating a metabolic disorder in a subject, the method comprising administering fibroblast growth factor binding protein 3 (FGFBP3) or a variant thereof to a subject in need of treatment of a metabolic disorder.

         21 . A method of treating a metabolic disorder in a subject in need thereof, the method comprising administering fibroblast growth factor binding protein 3 (FGFBP3) to the subject;
 wherein the metabolic disorder is selected from fatty liver, fatty liver disease, or a combination thereof.   
     
     
         22 . The method of  claim 21 , wherein the metabolic disorder is fatty liver. 
     
     
         23 . The method of  claim 21 , wherein the metabolic disorder is fatty liver disease. 
     
     
         24 . The method of  claim 21 , wherein the subject has metabolic syndrome. 
     
     
         25 . The method of  claim 21 , wherein the FGFBP3 is administered as a complex with fibroblast growth factor 19 (FGF19).
