Abstract
Provided herein are methods and systems of the invention that include the use of an automated solution dispenser to form a solution according to at least one target characteristic. A controller may be operatively connected to the automated solution dispenser, wherein the controller is programmed to direct mixing of one or more solids and one or more liquids to produce the solution. At least a portion of the solution can be dispensed into one or more containers.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 .- 113 . (canceled)
114 . A system comprising:
(a) a mixing chamber; (b) an automated solution dispenser that directs at least one solid selected from a plurality of solids and at least one liquid selected from a plurality of liquids to the mixing chamber; (c) one or more containers; (d) a bottle handling sub-system, wherein the battle handling sub-system is configured to manipulate the one or more containers; (e) a sensor configured to measure a characteristic of a liquid, a gas, a solution, or any combination thereof in the mixing chamber, wherein the characteristic comprises a safety value or regulation; and (f) a controller that is operably coupled to the automated solution dispenser, the bottle handling sub-system, and the sensor, wherein the controller is programmed to:
(i) direct the sensor to measure the characteristic of the liquid, the gas, the solution, or any combination thereof in the mixing chamber and compare the measured characteristic to a reference to produce a result; and
(ii) direct dispensing of least a portion of the liquid, the gas, the solution, or any combination thereof from the mixing chamber based in part on the result of (i).
115 . The system of claim 114 , wherein the measured characteristic is measured over time.
116 . The system of claim 114 , wherein the measured characteristic comprises a volume, a concentration, a ratio, a time, or any combination thereof.
117 . The system of claim 114 , wherein the system forms a solution having a target characteristic, and wherein the reference comprises the target characteristic of the solution.
118 . The system of claim 114 , wherein the reference comprises a safety value or a regulation.
119 . The system of claim 114 , wherein the controller receives the reference from a user.
120 . The system of claim 114 , wherein the controller receives the reference from a database.
121 . The system of claim 120 , wherein the system comprises the database.
122 . The system of claim 114 , wherein the sensor comprises a waste sensor.
123 . The system of claim 114 , wherein the sensor comprises a plurality of sensors.
124 . The system of claim 114 , wherein the sensor comprises a weight sensor, a pressure sensor, an optical sensor, an ultrasonic sensor, an infrared sensor, a barcode sensor, an apriltag sensor, a material composition sensor, or any combination thereof.
125 . The system of claim 114 , wherein the dispensing is from the mixing chamber to a drain that is in fluidic communication with the system.
126 . The system of claim 114 , wherein the dispensing is from the mixing chamber to a container positioned at the dispensing position.
127 . The system of claim 114 , wherein the dispensing comprises adding a buffer to the liquid, the gas, the solution or combination thereof.
128 . The system of claim 127 , wherein the buffer comprises an acidic buffer or a basic buffer.
129 . The system of claim 114 , wherein the controller directs the bottle handling sub-system to manipulate a subset of the one or more containers to a dispensing position based in part the result of (i).
130 . The system of claim 114 , wherein the system forms a solution having a target characteristic, and wherein the sensor is configured to measure the target characteristic of the solution.
131 . The system of claim 130 , wherein the solution comprises at least three target characteristics.
132 . The system of claim 130 , wherein the target characteristic comprises: pH, temperature, chemical composition, weight, conductivity, turbidity, density, capacitance, viscosity, or any combination thereof.
133 . The system of claim 130 , wherein the target characteristic corresponds to specifications for solution preparation.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
