Abstract

Calcium phosphate (“CAP”) particles for use in cosmetic, nutraceutic or aesthetic medicine. The particles may be used as carriers for cosmetic, nutraceutic or a factors, as controlled release matrices for the material, and as fillers in cosmetic treatments. The particles may be applied topically or injected or by any other appropriate delivery method.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
.- 15 . (canceled)

. A skin filler for treating one or more skin conditions, comprising calcium phosphate particles having an average diameter about 200 nm to about 4000 nm in combination with one or more aesthetic factor.

. The skin filler of claim 16 , wherein the calcium phosphate particles have an average diameter about 200 nm to about 2000 nm.

. The skin filler of claim 16 , wherein the calcium phosphate particles have one or more aesthetic factor at least partially coating the calcium phosphate particle or impregnating the calcium phosphate particle or both.

. The skin filler of claim 18 , wherein the one or more aesthetic factor is selected from the group consisting of a wrinkle treatment, a muscle relaxant, a skin filler, a dermal stimulant, a topical treatment, a vitamin, mineral, herb, and vein treatment.

. The skin filler of claim 19 , wherein the one or more aesthetic factor at least partially coating the calcium phosphate particles is different from the one or more aesthetic factor combined with the calcium phosphate particles.

. The skin filler of claim 19 , wherein the one or more aesthetic factor impregnating the calcium phosphate particles is different from the one or more aesthetic factor combined with the calcium phosphate particles.

. The skin filler of claim 20 , wherein the one or more aesthetic factor at least partially coating the calcium phosphate particles is a skin filler and wherein the one or more aesthetic factor in combination with the calcium phosphate particles is a dermal stimulant.

. The skin filler of claim 22 , wherein the skin filler is collagen and wherein the dermal stimulant is poly-L lactic acid.

. The skin filler of claim 20 , wherein the one or more aesthetic factor at least partially coating the calcium phosphate particles is a skin filler and wherein the one or more aesthetic factor in combination with the calcium phosphate particles is a wrinkle treatment.

. The skin filler of claim 24 , wherein the skin filler is collagen and wherein the wrinkle treatment is Botulinum Toxin type A.

. A composition for treating one or more skin conditions, consisting essentially of calcium phosphate particles having a diameter between about 200 nm to about 4000 nm and one or more aesthetic factor.

. The composition of claim 26 , wherein the calcium phosphate particles have an average diameter about 200 nm to about 2000 nm.

. The composition of claim 26 , wherein the calcium phosphate particles have one or more aesthetic factor at least partially coating the calcium phosphate particle or impregnating the calcium phosphate particle or both.

. The composition of claim 28 , wherein the one or more aesthetic factor is selected from the group consisting of a wrinkle treatment, a muscle relaxant, a skin filler, a dermal stimulant, a topical treatment, a vitamin, mineral, herb, and vein treatment.

. The composition of claim 29 , wherein the one or more aesthetic factor at least partially coating the calcium phosphate particles is different from the one or more aesthetic factor combined with the calcium phosphate particles.

. The composition of claim 29 , wherein the one or more aesthetic factor impregnating the calcium phosphate particles is different from the one or more aesthetic factor combined with the calcium phosphate particles.

. The composition of claim 30 , wherein the one or more aesthetic factor at least partially coating the calcium phosphate particles is a dermal stimulant and wherein the one or more aesthetic factor in combination with the calcium phosphate particles is a wrinkle treatment.

. The composition of claim 32 , wherein the dermal stimulant is poly-L lactic acid and wherein the wrinkle treatment is Botulinum Toxin type A.

. The composition of claim 30 , wherein the one or more aesthetic factor at least partially coating the calcium phosphate particles is a wrinkle treatment and wherein the one or more aesthetic factor in combination with the calcium phosphate particles is a dermal stimulant.

. The composition of claim 34 , wherein the wrinkle treatment is Botulinum Toxin type A and wherein the dermal stimulant is poly-L lactic acid.
