Claims

Abstract

The present disclosure describes treatment of the vasculature of a patient with an expandable implant. The implant is constrained to a reduced delivery profile for delivery within the vasculature by at least one sleeve. The implant may be constrained to other diameters, such as an intermediate configuration having a diameter larger than the delivery profile and smaller than the deployment diameter. The sleeves may be expanded, allowing for expansion of the diameter of the expandable implant, by disengaging a coupling member from the sleeve or sleeves from outside of the body of the patient. The expandable implant may comprise a number of side branch fenestrations or fenestratable portions.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A deployment system for an endoluminal device, the system comprising:
 an expandable endoluminal device having at least one target portion;   a first sleeve wrapped circumferentially about the expandable endoluminal device to maintain a first portion of the endoluminal device in a first collapsed configuration; and   a second sleeve wrapped circumferentially about the expandable endoluminal device to maintain a second portion of the endoluminal device in a second collapsed configuration, and at least one of the first sleeve and the second sleeve are configured to cover the at least one target portion in the first collapsed configuration and the second collapsed configuration and expose the at least one target portion in response to expansion of at least one of the first sleeve and the second sleeve.   
     
     
         2 . The deployment system of  claim 1 , wherein the at least one target portion includes a first target portion arranged with the first portion of the endoluminal device and a second target portion arranged with the second portion of the endoluminal device, and the first portion is a proximal portion of the endoluminal device and the second portion is a distal portion of the endoluminal device. 
     
     
         3 . The deployment system of  claim 2 , wherein the first sleeve and the second sleeve are configured to expose the first target portion and the second target portion to vasculature in response to expansion of the first sleeve and the second sleeve. 
     
     
         4 . The deployment system of  claim 2 , wherein the first sleeve is configured to allow expansion of the first portion of the endoluminal device to a first larger diameter and the second sleeve is configured to allow expansion of the second portion of the endoluminal device a second larger diameter. 
     
     
         5 . The system of  claim 4 , wherein the first sleeve and the second sleeve are configured to expand independently. 
     
     
         6 . The deployment system of  claim 1 , wherein the at least one target portion is a fenestratable portion of the endoluminal device configured to fenestrate by an endoluminal tool after partial or fully implantation of the endoluminal device. 
     
     
         7 . The deployment system of  claim 6 , wherein the target portion is configured to facilitate install of branching stent grafts to the endoluminal device. 
     
     
         8 . The deployment system of  claim 1 , wherein the first sleeve and the second sleeve are coupled together to act as one individual sleeve. 
     
     
         9 . The deployment system of  claim 1 , wherein the first sleeve includes a first portion and a second portion and the first portion of the first sleeve is releasably coupled to the second portion of the first sleeve to define a first seam and the second sleeve includes a first portion and a second portion and the first portion of the second sleeve is releasably coupled to the second portion of the second sleeve to define a second seam. 
     
     
         10 . The deployment system of  claim 9 , wherein a first coupling member releasably couples the first and second portions of the first sleeve together and a second coupling member releasably couples the first and second portions of the second sleeve together. 
     
     
         11 . The deployment system of  claim 10 , wherein the first coupling member and the second coupling member are arranged to form a single coupling member. 
     
     
         12 . The deployment system of  claim 1 , wherein the at least one target portion is a lateral opening in the endoluminal device. 
     
     
         13 . A deployment system for an endoluminal device, the system comprising:
 an expandable endoluminal device having a first target portion and a second target portion; and   at least one sleeve having one or more sections wrapped circumferentially about the expandable endoluminal device to maintain the endoluminal device in a collapsed configuration and configured to cover the first target portion and the second target portion in the collapsed configuration and expose the first target portion and a second target portion in response to expansion of the at least one sleeve.   
     
     
         14 . The deployment system of  claim 13 , wherein the at least one sleeve is configured to release the endoluminal device at different stages of deployment. 
     
     
         15 . The deployment system of  claim 14 , wherein the different stages of deployment an intermediate configuration and a deployed configuration. 
     
     
         16 . The deployment system of  claim 15 , wherein the at least one sleeve is configured to expose the first target portion and the second target portion at the different stages of deployment. 
     
     
         17 . The deployment system of  claim 16 , wherein the first target portion is a first lateral opening in the endoluminal device and the second target portion is a second lateral opening in the endoluminal device. 
     
     
         18 . The deployment system of  claim 13 , wherein the first target portion is longitudinally offset from the second target portion along the endoluminal device. 
     
     
         19 . The deployment system of  claim 13 , wherein the first target portion is circumferentially offset from the second target portion along the endoluminal device. 
     
     
         20 . A deployment system for an endoluminal device, the system comprising:
 an expandable endoluminal device having a first target portion and a second target portion;   a first sleeve wrapped circumferentially about the expandable endoluminal device to maintain a first portion of the endoluminal device in a first collapsed configuration; and   a second sleeve wrapped circumferentially about the expandable endoluminal device to maintain a second portion of the endoluminal device in a second collapsed configuration, and the first sleeve and the second sleeve are configured to cover the first target portion and second target portion in the first collapsed configuration and the second collapsed configuration and expose the first target portion between parallel edges of the first sleeve and the second sleeve in response to expansion the first sleeve and the second sleeve.
